The location is fantastic if you are looking for a quiet peaceful holiday. The local beach is very clean and a great place to exercise your dog. The cottage is very well equipped and comfortable.

The Cottage was one of the best we have stayed in, it was very clean and comfortable. A large garden for our dog. Only a short 10 minute walk to the beach which our dog loved, and only a 2 minute walk to the local pub which has a nice beer garden. If you are thinking about booking this Cottage you will not be disappointed. Dave Jeanette Doncaster

This is a fabulous cottage in a lovely little village. The cottage is in immaculate condition with plenty of space for 6 or more people. It has 5* cleanliness, plenty of crockery and cutlery. We will definitely be back. We would highly recommend.

Just coming back from an amazing week at this beautiful cottage. What a fantastic base. Cottage is immaculate. Rooms are large and plenty of space for the 5 of us. We were made very welcome even with a bottle of wine in the fridge on arrival! Beach about a 10 min walk from the house. Highly recommend

The cottage itself was extremely comfortable and well equipped, making it a pleasure to return to after a day out. We particularly liked the close proximity to a lovely beach which was great, for us and the dog! In fact the location in the Western Lake District was good all round; coastline, fells and open fields. It was a beautiful area.

This is an absolutely amazing place! We would highly recommend it to any dog owners seeking a clean and tidy, well laid out, quaint cottage in a quiet little village near the sea. We had an amazing time and even our 11 week old Beagle puppy enjoyed herself!

Couldn't have been more pleased! The cottage was beautifully furnished and very clean. I have three children and they enjoyed having a living room all to themselves in the evening with an Xbox One and plenty of games to keep them busy when inside. We were given a very nice bottle of red on arrival which was unexpected and well needed after our long journey from London so a nice surprise! Really happy with the accommodation; it's above what I had expected!

Lovely cottage, very clean and home from home. It was a little cold during our stay and the heating didn't seem to come on for long, apart from that it was a lovely place to stay. The pub just down the road had great food at a very reasonable price.

We were made so welcome with home made scones and jam on arrival. The caretakers Stuart and Kay went the extra mile and nothing was too much trouble for them. This is the most immaculately clean cottage that I have ever stayed in. We were 5 adults, 3 boys aged 10, 6 and 7 and 1 puppy. The garden was the best thing ever. It's really large and spacious and the boys had a great time playing footie. The beach was nearby and a lovely walk. There was a 9 hole golf course ( yawn ) but there was also footie golf. That was brilliant. Everything in this cottage is top end from designer towels, fab M & S mattresses to beautiful cutlery. All of the bedrooms are a really good size and have loads of wardrobe and drawer space.
