This holiday rental in Garnage-Over-Sands is really lovely. Four big bedrooms, enough to sleep eight comfortably, a spacious dining room, a big comfortable lounge and well stocked kitchen really gives this place a grand feel. It's all very tastefully done, and there is plenty of room for adults and children to spread out and enjoy themselves. There are TVs in every bedroom for those rainy afternoons, but when the sun is out the front garden is the place to be; perched half way up a hill and furnished with a picnic table and an old church pew, it's the perfect place to enjoy a view of the salt marshes and Morecombe Bay. Grange has something for everyone: boutiques, antiques, garden nurseries, delicatessens, car boot sales, one of the finest butchers in the country and pubs serving excellent Lakeland Ales. There's a pretty promenade walk by the sea and a place that sells homemade ice cream. If you like walking there are family sized walks all around the fells behind Grange; and for fisherman, stocked ponds and reservoirs half an hour away by car (my brother and I caught several 1 1/2 pound rainbow trout on dry flies). The owners of the rental, Rory and Liz are charming and did everything they could to make our stay comfortable and help us get the most from Grange: they know the places to go and the people to talk to have a really good holiday.
