This wonderful stone-built Georgian market town is thought to be one of the finest stone towns in England. Famous for its use as Meryton in the 2005 Pride & Prejudice film, the town offers an excellent variety of independent shops, recognised retailers, character-rich pubs and range of restaurants. There is also a weekly market every Friday. This charming, bustling town offers an excellent place to stay whatever the time of the year.
