Duporth is just minutes from the picturesque harbour village of Charlestown. The neighbouring village of Charlestown remains a working port and a real draw for those in search of a little history. As a point of interest, the port is also home to a historic china clay building, the largest UK collection of artefacts and treasure recovered from shipwrecks. Charlestown also offers two pubs, a hotel and two restaurants, offering everything from traditional pub grub with local real ales, to a la carte dining.

Only a couple of miles away from Duporth is St Austell, the largest town in Cornwall and home to a selection of independent shops.
