Lovely property, well-equipped and in a great location. Good communication with the owner made it easy and all the more enjoyable. Pub 50 yards away was a bonus.

The location was perfect. There was easy walking right from the front door and a great pub near, it's the small things like that which make a big difference for us. The cottage was also like a home from home, it had everything you could possibly need.

It was a lovely, cosy and beautifully furnished little cottage. A real little home from home, just perfect for the two of us.

Lovely, high quality cottage situated in a nice, quiet location. Spotlessly clean and very well equipped; it's got everything you could possibly need. The owners really have gone the extra mile to make this property special. It is definitely one of the best self-catering properties we have ever stayed in.

The cottage was decorated to a high standard and after a long day out walking the bathroom was a wonderful sanctuary with a huge deep bath and lots of hot water. We enjoyed a relaxing and peaceful holiday in this lovely country cottage and would recommend it to others.

The situation of, and facilities in the cottage are outstanding. The provision of maps, guide books etc was very much appreciated and beyond the call of duty. We had two lovely walks one in Cree Dale and the other from Castleton.

Perfectly situated in the heart of the High Peak, with a pub and supermarket just around the corner yet felt like we were in the middle of the nowhere. The house could not have been more idyllic. Loved every minute of our stay!

What a lovely cosy well looked after cottage. The owner was very amenable and helpful when we called for instructions regarding collection of the key and general information about the cottage. Everything is provided, kitchen roll, washing up liquid, condiments, every pot pan and kitchen item you could ever need. Beds very comfortable and plenty of storage. There is also a dishwasher and washing machine. Parking is on the road in front of the cottage on an incline which was fun in the snow! The pub is a 2 minute walk from the premises. Castleton is an hours walk across the fields. A very enjoyable weekend, very relaxing and comfortable, would definitely stay here again

What can I say about this cottage.... amazing location, fantastic facilities, beautifully decorated and a log fire to add to the atmosphere. The cottage was spotless and has all the amenities you would require. Fully appointed kitchen with dishwasher and washer dryer (liquids provided) Bedrooms - 2 double bedrooms, both with iPhone docking stations. Bathroom - Modern but tasteful bathroom with a very large bath to ease those muscles after long days walking. Overall a great find and we will definitely be back. The Bowling Green pub down the lane is worth a visit and has great food.

Really enjoyed our stay. The cottage was well equipped and had modern facilities. Bradwell is a nice unspoilt village. I can recommend both the cottage and the village.
