The cottage was so light and airy!Everything you could need for preparing meals was in the kitchen -plus a dishwasher! My 2 longtime school friends and I really enjoyed relaxing in one separate bedroom each. When they went home after finishing their weekend, my husband joined me to for the rest of the week.
The master bedroom is all by itself on the lowest floor, and completely private - with its own wet room.
We all loved how close it was to the town centre, and thoroughly recommend the curry house on the corner of the street. The only bit I didn't like was trying to park my car in the tight space at the front of the property, which was up a steep incline. I used my car parking token to go over to the railway station and park the car there.
Out and about, the open air swimming pool at Hathersage was great fun, as was climbing the rocks at Surprise View, close to Hathersage. The Richard arkwright Cotton Mill museum around the corner from Matlock was totally absorbing- then we went next door to spend money at the Masson Mills store.
