It was good and comfortable accommodation with all that we needed, and an excellent base from which to explore the island.

The location was great, and it was a lovely little cottage, perfect for a relaxed getaway. The owners have made sure that there is plenty of local info, maps and pamphlets to assist in holiday making! The local pub is a lovely place to dine.

The cottage was well presented and comfortable. It was great that the garden was enclosed with a low fence, so the dogs were safe to roam. The kitchen was well stocked with crockery, plus disposables like cling film, which we really appreciated.

It was quiet, relaxing and the owner was very helpful.
November 2014
The cottage was well equipped and had all the home comforts. We. like the previous reviewer didn't find the DVD player. On arrival and before unloading we decided to have a hot drink - the coffee had gone purple and solid in the jar! The loose tea in the cupboard was over a year out of date! We unpacked and used our own tea/coffee/sugar. Several cushions, a chair, the footstool and the rug on the floor were badly stained. The tiled splash-back to the cooker and sink had food / grease marks. We had to wash several of the dinner plates before use as they had dried on food on them. The bathroom window sill was filthy. The ornaments were covered in a layer of dust as was the fire blanket and extinguisher. We stripped the beds and vacuumed through when we left but felt that the cottage needed a deep clean. Although the bedding was clean the master bed quilt cover would have benefited from being ironed. It was screwed up.

The cottage was lovely but grubby, dusty skirting boards and cupboards with grubby cushions BUT the bed was clean & comfortable, kitchen adequate with bonus of dishwasher, shower over bath.Super stable door for front door. TV worked but was spoiled by a voice behind the sound that was for the blind - couldn't find a way to turn it off. No DVD player or games as advertised but books available. back garden nice to sit out in. Seems to be a complex for older people and is very quiet. Good walk for dogs over the road and up to golf course. OS map on property which was very useful. Recycling a bit confusing but eventually worked it out. Comfy all round and good for our needs with a dog. Tried our best to clean after we stayed but felt it was not up to us to do a deep clean.
