Excellent weekend break with good facilities and walks on site. Good service and accommodation in a lovely peaceful setting. Loved the local battle of Britain flight viewing platform from the hot tub, disliked the service at the the local amenities .

The lodge was in a good location on the park, it was quiet and the view across the lake was good. It was lovely to relax in the hot tub and sunbathe while looking out over the lake. It was good for fishing as the swims were close to the lodge.

The four day break was excellent. The spacious accommodation was homely and the extra decorations made it feel Christmassy. We all enjoyed ourselves, and the hot tub was pure luxury. We look forward to a repeat visit.

We liked the accommodation in its self. The view over the lake was stunning. The hot tub was lovely to relax in and the decked area at the back was ideal for sitting outside on.

Being able to take the dog was a real bonus for us. The location of the lodge was superb in relation to not being overlooked. A nice short walk to shop pub and swimming pool.

Inside and outside of cabin was filthy (which I cleaned especially the 3 sofas they had so much food in and under them that ants were having a party), dog hair everywhere including the bedding. Very expensive site you have to have a pass for everywhere and every Amenity (which you pay for) including to eat in the restaurant. Not private fishing as stated anyone can use the pitch outside the cabin if they have a ticket. A little distraction/noise from the RAF base close by is an understatement they are constantly taking off Mon - Fri from 8.30am til late evening (as this is where the new super Jets that protect Englands Coast line are kept). The hot tub was not maintained at all during our week (which should be checked every other day).

this was a great place to stay. The lodge is well located on the park and was very clean and modern. I would definitely stay in this lodge again. great for fishermen as there are 3 swims shared between 2 lodges just in front of the lodge. The only negaive thing to say is that the single beds are small and are more suitable for children rather than adults especially if you are a large adult. Luckily for us, the adults sleeping in the beds were small women.
