The host was very welcoming and friendly. The house is spacious and tastefully decorated. The location at the end of a short cul de sac is peaceful with easy parking and a great view over the town and hills. Thoroughly relaxing experience - the beautiful weather was a bonus!

What a wonderful place to stay, we loved everything about the property. Our host was there to welcome us on our arrival and showed us around cottage. The cottage itself is lovely and warm, very well laid out and has everything you could possibly need. The garden was wonderful and the views of the castle fantastic. We would highly recommend staying here and hope to be back again ourselves in the not too distant future.

The accommodation was splendid, but the backdrop in rustic, rural, northwest Ireland was just perfect. Many many things to do and not enough time. The food everywhere was fabulous, and the friendliness and courtesy of the locals was way beyond expectations.

The special welcome at the start added a fantastic touch. Our host had cupcakes to welcome us. The rest of the stay was fantastic

We were met by the owner upon arrival and shown around the property, our comfort was her top priority. The house is at the top end of town and is an excellent base for exploring the Irish equivalent of the Lake District. It's a good, warm, well maintained house; close to amenities. We hope to return here. Highly recommended!

What a wonderful place to stay, we loved everything about the property. Our host was there to welcome us on our arrival and showed us around cottage. The special welcome was a lovely touch as not only had she lit the fire but she had also left a selection of cakes for us to have with our cup of tea. The cottage itself is lovely and warm, very well laid out and has everything you could possibly need. The garden was wonderful and the views of the castle fantastic. We would highly recommend staying here and hope to be back again ourselves in the not too distant future.

We liked everything about the property. The house was fantastic and having the ruins of Hamilton Castle across the road was amazing, along with the view of the mountains from the front and back of the property. Access to the shops was only a short walk, very handy. It was a good base to explore that area of Ireland, we loved it. Best accommodation we have stayed in and we have stayed in quite a number of places over the past few years throughout the UK.
