The location of 5 Forge Cottages was excellent and the area very peaceful. We particularly enjoyed having a nice dog walk from the cottage and the pub within walking distance. The locals were friendly and the garden was a lovely place to sit when the sun came out.

The cottage was very quaint, comfortable and the furnishings were very sweet. The owners left very useful information about best beaches, pubs, walks and places of interest which we used as we were unfamiliar with the area. The garden was lovely, our grandchildren loved the size as well as the small stream at bottom of garden.

The cottage was so quirky and beautiful with wooden beams and bare brick throughout. We enjoyed the peace, relaxing by the open fire and having beaches a short drive away. The dogs loved the garden and the wildlife that came to say hello. The bed was so comfortable, which always helps when you're trying to have a restful holiday.

The cottage was very old and quaint, the garden was lovely and the surrounding fields and streams perfect. We were near our favourite sea-side town, Whitstable, and near to many good sites of interest, gardens and houses, art galleries. The weather was great.

A lovely rural cottage. Large fields at the back to walk around and close to several beautiful beaches. Plenty of room for us to stay in comfortably. The furnishings were up to a good standard, and in keeping with the cottages look.

I loved the character and charm of this cottage. The oak beams, the inglenook fireplace, the steep winding stairs, the snug. The garden was a real sun trap.

The location was just what we wanted in a quiet location in the country, but near the sea. The cottage was clean, comfortable and homely with flowers and tea and coffee to welcome us on our arrival. The owners had put a lot of thought into what might be needed and we did not lack for anything. This was a dog friendly cottage, the garden was ideal with plenty of walks on the doorstep.
