Claddagh House is a lovely detached house situated in the village of Foxford just ten miles from Ballina in County Mayo. The house can sleep seven people and has two double bedrooms (one with en-suite shower room), one twin and one single bedroom together with family bathroom and ground floor shower room. Also in the house is a kitchen with dining area and a sitting room with gas fire. Outside is off road parking for three cars and ample roadside parking outside the house, together with private lawned gardens. Claddagh House is a superb base from which to explore this lovely part of the country.
Foxford is a delightful town situated on the River Moy in County Mayo. Foxford is well known as a tourist centre and has a variety of traditional pubs, restaurants and shops. Nestled between the Ox and Nephin Mountains, the town caters for a range of outdoor activities such as walking, mountain biking and fishing. The Foxford Way is an 86km long trail which takes in the Ox Mountains, archaeological sites, boglands and river banks. For fishing enthusiasts, the River Moy offers salmon fishing, whilst nearby Loughs Conn and Cullin provide opportunities for brown trout fishing.
