The cottage had absolutely everything you could need. It was quiet with a secluded feel, whilst being nearly on a main street. Excellent for public transport users like us.

Great location: slightly outside the town, so not too noisy, but still conveniently close, with a supermarket just a minutes walk away.

We loved the warm, comfortable and homely feeling of the cottage. It had character and the notes/instructions were most helpful. The location is wonderfully convenient! We could walk to service at the Cathedral, run out for a quick pint, feed the ducks in the nearby park and easily grab some groceries from the nearby market. Our son loved the character and privacy of the upper bedroom.

The cottage was situated 5 minutes walk away from the centre of Canterbury. It was warm, welcoming and had everything you needed and more besides. I would have no hesitation in recommending this property to friends and family.

The cottage was clean, comfortable and has a very comfortable bed. There was a much appreciated welcome pack including bread and milk in the fridge. The cottage is within easy access to all amenities and visitor attractions. The railway station Canterbury West is a 10 minute walk away and a bus stop less than a minute! The main street and the area around the Cathedral have many old and interesting buildings. We really enjoyed our holiday and would highly recommend the cottage. It is ideally placed for visiting the surrounding area both by public transport and private car.

The cottage was perfect for the three of us. It had everything we needed and the location was ideal. We will definitely be booking again when we visit Canterbury again next year.

Central position with parking a real bonus. Gas log-burner fire was very efficient and made the sitting room a lovely room to relax in.

A superb cottage - everything was as described - we felt at home. A parking place was provided as promised. The location was excellent - no need for a motor car as everything was within walking distance - we especially enjoyed the beautiful park around the corner.

A clean cosy cottage within easy reach of public transport as we do not have a car. The television in the bedroom was a nice touch so we could go to bed watch our favourite programmes after a tiring day out. A perfect holiday!

The cottage was in a great location and was very well appointed and comfortable. The parking space was a bonus as parking is very limited in Canterbury.

It was nice and compact and everything was within easy reach. The shower was good and hot water readily available. This was our second stay at this property and we will book to stay there again.

The cottage is located in the centre of Canterbury with easy pedestrian access to the city's historic buildings and cathedral plus local shops, restaurants and pubs. The cottage is well furnished and equipped and my wife and I had a very comfortable one month stay.

It was obvious from the moment we entered the cottage we had found a property that the owner takes great pride in,everything was spotless,a welcome basket was waiting for us stocked with bread milk coffee preserves and breakfast cereal, the rest of the cottage was also to a very high standard lovely comfy sofa, tv with free view loads of DVDs and good selection of books and games, the bedrooms were up to the same standard comfy bed and plenty of spare towels for the on suite bathroom. Canterbury city centre is only 5 minuets walk away with all the well known shops and many not so well known, restaurants and cafes are everywhere from burgers to a 5 star menu to many to mention but we must single out a newly opened Greek restaurant "ZEUS" the food was exceptionally good as was the staff and prices, and at the end of Lindon Grove is Westgate Gardens a perfect place to walk of a lovely meal. So to sum up we had a perfect two week stay in a cottage that is certainly a home from home and a parking space as well, maybe wifi could be thought of sometime in the future.

What a great little cottage, very clean and comfortable and just a two minute walk into the city centre. Plenty of pubs, restaurants and take aways on the doorstep. Not the easiest to park a car, although there is a shared space when we stayed there were builders in the neighbouring properties which meant several vans, we were able to park for free about 5 minutes walk away but there were daytime restrictions that had to be adhered to. All in all it was a fabulous holiday and I would certainly book this cottage again

The cottage was freshly decorated and very well equipped. It was ideally placed - only a stone's throw from the bustling high street, but also very very near the river and parks. Canterbury is a very vibrant city with lots of attractions for all tastes.
December 2015
Very satisfactory for 2 or three people - just outside the Westgate, so within less than 10 mins walk of the city centre and cathedral. Clean, well equipped, with an off-road parking space, and (for us at Christmas) excellent central heating and a very good gas fire. The aganecy, Sykes, were very helpful too, eben sending a second reminder of the key-box code a couple of days before we set off.
