Watersports on Bala Lake and other North Wales attractions are easily accessible, as are many areas of Shropshire and Cheshire. Walking, fishing, mountain biking, horseriding and golf available locally. Shop, pub and restaurant 1 mile.

The cottage was in a great location, with its own stream and jetty to enjoy in the back garden. It was well equipped and stocked, which helped with the little bits we’d forgotten. The rooms were good sizes and the sofa was super comfy. The only fault we found was the reception on the free view box, but then again we shouldn’t have gone away to watch TV! It was almost a shame that the weather was so good as the fire looked amazing.

We loved this cottage, it exceeded expectations within and out. It is clearly loved and there is very generous provision for visitors in terms of fuel, DVDs, games and really good local tips. It was very welcoming and we had such a lovely time.

A really beautiful cottage in a wonderful surroundings. The pictures do not do the cottage justice. Not that large, but was definitely big enough for two of us.
