Steeped in history, the Hall dates back to the 1800s and still retains many of the original features of a bygone era. Antique, reproduction and contemporary modern have been brought together to offer spacious accommodation perfect for a long-awaited family get together or to celebrate that special occasion. The ancient seaport of Whitby known for its connections with Captain James Cook boasts a colourful harbour that leads to a 3-mile stretch of award-winning sandy beach, perfect for a fun-filled family day at the seaside. Dominated by the abbey ruins and St Mary’s church, where Bram Stoker found his inspiration and Dracula was born, 199 steps lead to the ruins where breathtaking views across the coast line can be enjoyed. Visit fishing villages and smugglers’ coves dotted a long the coastline such as Robin Hood’s Bay, Runswick Bay and Staithes - all untouched by the hands of time. If walking and cycling are your forte, then this is the place to be with the North Yorkshire Moors on your doorstep and many bridle paths and cycle tracks to suit everyone.
