Amberwood is a cosy, semi-detached bungalow in the town of Newhall near Swadlincote in the Peak District. The bungalow sleeps four people in one double bedroom. There is also a wet room with a shower, a kitchen with a breakfast bar and a sitting room with a sofa bed for flexibility, an electric fire and a dining area. Outside there is off road parking for 1 car and a patio with furniture. Amberwood is a lovely pet-friendly cottage surrounded by historic sites and plenty of opportunities for walking.
Swadlincote is a bustling town with a lovely outdoor market and independent shops. There are plenty of places to eat and drink, from village tea rooms to award-winning restaurants. You can eat alongside a canal, in the countryside or even in an Alpine ski lodge! Nearby Burton upon Trent is a town straddling the River Trent, made famous by its breweries and with The National Brewery Centre interactive museum close by, you can sample some of the many award-winning ales and learn a thing or two about the brewing process.
