Both the Brecon Beacons and the Black Mountains are within easy access for keen walkers and cyclists. The Carmel nature reserve brings together a range of unique habitats including woodland grassland heath land and bog. Carreg Cennen Castle one of the most famous and privately owned castles in Wales. The National Botanic Garden of Wales with its restored gardens and excellent tea room. The National Showcaves of Wales makes a great family day out. A little further afield Pembrey beach with golden sands and views across Carmarthen Bay. Leisure facilities: the owner can arrange a fishing permit for the Towy and Cothi.
