This is a great house for a group it's really well equipped in the kitchen and the rooms are comfortable and well furnished. It's in an excellent position next to the beach and the owners next door are really friendly and helpful but keep themselves to themselves whilst you are there.

An amazing place! There were fantastic views from the conservatory and garden room which have recently been added to the property. We had a very comfortable stay in the perfect location for a relaxing break.

This is a stunning cottage in a stunning location, the views are spectacular. As a party of 12 there was plenty of room, the cottage was well equipped and we could not have chosen a better place to stay. We made use of the owners kayaks, the walks on the cliffs were wonderful and the children enjoyed the beach. We had the most magical holiday, our ages were from 1 year - 50 and there was plenty to do for all. We would recommend anyone to stay here and we could happily have stayed here permanent.

On arrival the owner was very welcoming and gave all the information needed for our stay. Our party which consisted of 10 plus 2 dogs with ages ranging from 8 to 70, were well catered for. The house was very clean and comfortable with plenty of equipment. The view from the house was to die for, fantastic place! Would certainly recommend it.

Everything had a nautical theme which was great as we were right next to the sea. The kitchen equipment was extensive including lots of things we didn't expect and allowed us to cook spectacular meals and serve them in appropriate dishes for all ten of us to enjoy family meals. The views from the lounges and bedrooms were excellent it meant hat my invalid husband had a good view to occupy his time.

The owners were very helpful and available, but not intrusive. They respond to queries quickly and ensure that a good holiday is had. They supplied local knowledge as well as a comfortable base. The property is ideal for a multi-family group, allowing separate areas for privacy as well as sufficient shared space. The wheelchair access is invaluable for those needing it. Instructions for the use of various items were simple, easy to find and easy to apply and it is always good to have an efficient recycling system. The kitchen is one of the best stocked I have ever seen and the household bedding and linen is of a good quality. We also appreciated the little touches in each room. Views across the bay and from the property were spectacular and it's location hard to beat.

The property was in a fantastic location with great views. The cleanliness was excellent and all of the bedrooms were beautifully decorated. The shops and pubs were close by, I would go back again and again.

The close proximity of the sea with sea views on 3 sides of the property is a huge plus point of staying there. The veranda/sun lounge was the most popular room for all ages. Availability of Kayacks for exploring the bay was a bonus. Good selection of garden furniture sun loungers to enjoy quality location. Having the owners living in part of the property was an advantage for dealing with minor matters or asking for assistance. Good quality towels bed linen.

The views were outstanding possibly the best in Cemaes Bay, visible from practically every room, including bedrooms. Large outdoor area, and plenty of parking space. Friendly helpful owners and very good facilities. I would fully recommend Angorfa as a holiday home. Cemaes Bay is a lovely little place, and the locals are friendly, ideal for people who prefer a quieter more relaxing holiday

The house was in a perfect setting and the views are unbelievable. Rooms are very spacious and spotlessly clean. Everything was just right for our group of 12, ages 2 to 86. Plus one dog. Couldn't have been better and we would love to go back.

Fantastic in one word, Really couldn't ask for more. Maggie and Dave the new owners, just could not do enough for us to make our stay great. They have done so much with the property to improve it and it really did show. They were there to greet us and that made it more personal. The accommodation was well equipped and the beds were so very comfortable. Fantastic place if you are like me, disabled. We all loved it so much that we are really going to try and go back again next year. There was so much to do,great for crabbing and swimming. Down the path and onto the jetty and when the tide was out you could walk from the jetty to the harbor. So all in all the best holiday we have had in years. Thank you to Maggie and Dave.

This is a fantastic house in a stunning location.Maggie & Dave gave us a wonderful welcome, nothing was too much trouble. We were a bit concerned about Paul being able to get around the house with his electric wheelchair ,but we need not have worried the whole of the property was totally accessible. We all instantly felt at home ,the sitting rooms and bedrooms were all very tastefully decorated and very comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped to cook for eight people and the dining room was excellent.Every evening we sat in the conservatory to watch the sun go down and the tides come and go.The children declared that "this is a proper holiday, the best holiday ever"The access down to the jetty from the garden was an extra treat, with many an hour spent catching crabs, and inspecting the rock pools.A wonderful place , we hope to return next year.Thank you Maggie & Dave for going the extra mile.

The location of the property could not be better. Right on the coast but easy walk to shops and pub. There were plenty of toilets and sinks which helped with so many people staying together. Lovely large dining table that we could all fit round.

I have just returned from a week at Angorfa (15/2/14 to 22/2/14). Our party of 12 ranged in age from 3 years to 65 years and I have to say that every one of us had an amazing week. The owners, Maggie and Dave, were on hand if we had questions and nothing was too much trouble for them. The house lived up to all our expectations - it was spacious and clean and fully equipped to meet our needs. The views were stunning and the location perfect especially for the little ones who loved the beach and rock pools. We will definitely be back!

Just spent May half term here with family aged 3 - 92. Disabled facilities superb as is everything. House is well equipped and Maggie & Dave superb hosts. They are there if you need them but not at all intrusive. Beaches are clean and immediately accessible. We all loved it - this is our second visit and will try to book again.

Our family group ranged from 6 months to 62 years plus 1 dog. Angorfa was perfect for all of us. The 6 children loved the space and the garden and crabbing off the pier. The views and location are fantastic. We spent many hours just sitting overlooking the bay enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. The facilities and equipment are excellent. The beds are comfortable and the ensuites are new. Maggie and Dave have thought of everything you could possibly need - even the kayaks which our sons enjoyed. The village is only a short stroll away and we had a good meal at the Harbour. We also visited Benllech and Trearddur bay which are only a 25 minute drive away - good beaches. This is the best property we have stayed in during our many visits to North Wales/Anglesey. We would love to return to Angorfa and will be back as soon as possible.

This property was truly flawless, my only negative feedback is the disappointment in having to leave such a nice place. We stayed here for my Dads 70th birthday and the property/location just added to making this a truly wonderful celebration and family getaway. The cottage was spotlessly clean and everyone had spacious bedrooms with the majority of them having amazing views looking out to sea. My favourite room had to be the living room which again was really spacious and had stunning views looking over Camaes Bay including some great sunsets. If your looking for a coastal getaway then this is the perfect place to stay with direct access to the beach, places for crabbing, coastal walks and even free use of Kayak's. The owners Maggie and Dave really do everything they can to make your stay a perfect one down to the hamper we received on arrival to being there for any additional requirements or advice you may need. Can't wait to return which unfortunately may be longer than we wanted to wait as this place is for very good reason highly popular.

Our Scuba Diving club organised a week's stay at Angorfa at the start of October, with different members coming for a few days. The location was perfect for mooring our 2 dive boats and setting off for different dive sites, both nearby and as far as The Skerries. We were out on the boats every day in all weathers. We also used the 3 sea kayaks that the owners loaned to us, in a safe bay - great fun had by all. The house had all the facilities we could wish for, in a beautiful setting, with a short walk to the village for good grub. Maggie and Dave were so welcoming and friendly - we even took Dave out one day for a dive. We'll be back!

The cottage was spotlessly clean and had sea views all round, we stayed over the new year and it was warm and cosy with comfortable beds, which even had electric blankets (toastie)! The area itself is lovely with a good beach and real ale pub, supermarket, bakery and cafe in the village. Owner advised we were the last guests before extensive refurbishment starts in new year. I very much look forward to seeing the results as this place is just in the most perfect location. All of our party would love to go back and stay again.

Angorfa Cottage really stands out from the rest of the self catering venues in the area and boasts a truly unique location set away from the others. Cemaes Bay is stunning! If you want a nice quiet get away this is the place! We stayed at Angorfa Cottage for a solid week with friends and family which felt too short to be honest! The location is spectacular, cute little village only a 5minutes walk away, stunning ocean views, plenty of recreational activities (Fishing, walks, BBQ, rock pools, and swimming weather permitting, boating). The garden literally leads onto the beach, cliff and a small pier on the water! The parking facility is excellent and we parked 4-5 cars easily, in a safe location right on the property! The house is private with no noise or traffic. Access to the house is great, no steep climbs. Most of the rooms are all on the 1st floor so it is easy to get around and are beautiful and clean. Facilities are great (We cooked up a storm!) and the friendly hosts really add to the experience. Maggie & Dave the owners are always looking to please, they really did add that special touch to the experience. This magical destination was worth the journey! Will definitely return!

We have arrived home today after our second stay at Angorfa and our only regret is that we can't stay longer. This is a very special place, somewhere to relax and chill with family and friends and create unforgettable memories. We are an extended family of wide ranging ages and there really is something for everyone, but in that lovely old fashioned sea side holiday style, days on the beach, kite flying, crabbing, fishing, sea kyaks, rock pools to investigate, stunning coastal walks and so much more, but always there is the wonderful house to return to, beautifully laid out, welcoming and cosy and so well kitted out and with views that are fantastic. We have reached that point that Angorfa feels like it really is 'our holiday home'. We have already booked our next visit and can't wait for more magical memories. Thank you Maggie and Dave for creating such a special place and letting us share it.

Lovely that we could contact the owners at any time. Nothing was too much trouble. Very welcoming. Although cold at first they had turned the heating on for our arrival and once warmed up it was lovely the electric blankets were a god send in the cold weather suggested written introductions for "old folk" as my dad hadn't remembered how to work the blanket lovely touch to have a bottle of wine and welcome card also found out that can arrange Tesco delivery if required or will shop for us if asked for anything in particular thank you for a lovely place welcoming and spectacular.

My sister and I and our husbands have just returned from a fabulous week at Angorfa. The house has everything you need for a comfortable stay. We were so lucky with the weather and had sunshine every day. The views from the house are beautiful. We enjoyed sitting in the conservatory looking out across the bay at the town and the countryside. Maggie and Dave are friendly, excellent hosts and nothing is too much trouble for them. Although they live on part of the top floor of the house they are not at all intrusive but there if you have any questions or need any help. None of us wanted to leave and hope to pay a return visit in the future, perhaps with our extended families.

We had a wonderful holiday at Angorfa. The owners Maggie and Dave were so friendly and helpful and it didn't feel at all intrusive having them upstairs. The house has everything you need, a real home from home, and the games and toys were a nice touch. It was lovely to sit out in the evening looking out onto the bay. It is extremely dog friendly - they were able to wander outside, around the garden, in complete safety and it was such easy access down to the beach. The water in Camaes Bay is crystal clear - just wish it had been warmer and I might have dared to venture in for a swim. Can't wait to go back again!

My husband and I have just returned from our third stay with family at Angorfa. We love it there. The house is in a prime location in Cemaes Bay, overlooking the whole bay and harbour. The changing tides create new vistas every day and there's always something happening to watch, whether it's boats Entering or leaving the harbour, kayakers, or bird life (gulls, terns, oyster catchers). The sunsets at the back of the house are just beautiful. The house is large, comfortable and very well equipped. The owners, Maggie and Dave, have provided everything to try and ensure their guests have a happy and relaxing holiday. They live in private accommodation above the guest house but they are not at all intrusive; on the contrary they are respectful of their guests' privacy. We have found it very helpful that they live nearby when we've wanted help or advice. They are lovely people and have become our good friends. I highly recommend Angorfa as a great place to stay on a beautiful island.

Angorfa lived up to everything it promised to be. So comfortable!! With seven bedrooms to choose from the 4 of us were able to spread out. We spent more time in the sun room than anywhere else - the views over the bay were stunning!! The sun sets at the back awesome. Maggie and Dave are a delightful couple....so accommodating and helpful. Thank you. Their dog Rufus is a charmer!! The weather was perfect. There is so much to see and do on Anglesey...we will be back for a third time!!

I'd like to say it was terrible, then no one would book and there would be more availability for us - but I can't! It's a lovely place in a fabulous location. Maggie and Dave were great hosts, nothing was too much trouble. The village has local shops and there are plenty of walks along the coast and river. We have already booked to bring extended family back early next year. The place is very dog friendly and our dogs loved it. I'd like to be constructive and give some bad points, but I can't think of anything bad about angorfa.
