Aqueduct Cottage is a lovely semi-detached cottage situated on the canal towpath, just a hundred yards from the Chick Aqueduct. The cottage sleeps five people and has one double bedroom, one twin and a single room, as well as two bathrooms. It also has a kitchen, a dining room and a sitting room with an open fire. Outside is off road parking and a lawned garden with a patio, decked area and outdoor furniture. Chirk stands above where the rivers Ceiriog and Dee meet, and is referred to as The Gateway to Wales. Famous for its 13th century castle and gardens, Chirk boasts a wonderful aqueduct, designed by Thomas Telford.
