The rooms are on the ground floor, but the property is elevated and has some lovely views. The kitchen is well equipped and spacious with a table that provides ample room for dining and the sitting room is cosy and welcoming with views across to Kenmare. The double bedroom is spacious and tastefully decorated and the shower room is conveniently arranged to be en-suite. Outside there is a lawned garden to the front of the property with far reaching views over to Kenmare Bay. There is a shop and pub just five minutes walk away and the cottage is the perfect place for a romantic hideaway.
Area Situated on the stunning Bay of Kenmare, the lovely town of Kenmare overlooks the magnificent Atlantic Ocean. There are beautiful, unspoiled beaches to explore, wildlife to be spotted and coastal paths to be walked. Kenmare is a fascinating town full of interesting streets that wind and wander along and house artist's galleries, little boutiques and some of the best restaurants in Ireland. The town of Killarney is only 25 miles away and has more amenities and eateries and is well worth investigating. Beara and Dingle Peninsulas are close by as is the Ring of Kerry - all places waiting to be discovered. With all the attractions on offer, one might think that things may be hectic, but Ireland is famous for its leisurely pace of life and it doesn't disappoint.

Note: Although all ground floor, property front entrance is accessed via 30 external stone stairs. To the rear it's accessed via 6 steps.
The setting was ideal for exploring the area and very relaxing in the evening. The owner was most helpful, nothing was any trouble to him.
The beautiful scenery of Cork and Kerry is just stunning and there are lots of places to visit and see and to numerous to list. To sum up a great place for a holiday.
