We had a fantastic time at Ash House. It is a very cosy and well equipped house in a peaceful location; a real home from home. We would definitely recommend it.

This is a very well equipped and tastefully decorated cottage in a peaceful location. It feels more like home than a rental property. We hope to return next year.

The cottage was lovely, clean, cosy, and well furnished. Lots of books and games for a rainy day. Well placed in the village, so you could walk to the shop and pubs with lots of excellent walks to do around the Silverdale area.

Ash House was a lovely clean and well equipped cottage. Kitchen was extremely well equipped and the open fire was great. We enjoyed the access to local walks and the proximity of the local shop. Bathroom was lovely and great to have lots of drying space. House had plenty of space for our teenagers.

A very well equipped home from home which was very spacious yet warm and comfortable. The location is very good - a terrace of houses on a private cul-de-sac overlooking an empty field meant that there was little passing traffic. The house felt light and airy, aided by the light carpets and furnishings. The village centre with shops is five minutes walk up the footpath and a five minute walk in the opposite direction takes you down to the estuary with plenty of opportunities for beach-combing. Would thoroughly recommend.

6 adults stayed for a weekend. All was good in ash house but we had to ask for the double bed option in the top room where headroom is a bit restricted. Thoroughly enjoyed the nearby Woodlands pub in a small undeveloped stately hall. Other 2 pubs under new management and not quite there yet.
