Pretty Kirkby Malzeard is one of a scattering of delightful villages, idyllically situated amidst the stunning moorland scenery and tapestry of lush green meadows of Nidderdale. The village is well served by two pubs, one serving Indian takeaways, a village shop, three tearooms and a local garage. The area is a walkers paradise with many footpaths and bridleways wending their merry way through the beautiful Dales countryside, whilst painters and photographers are also well catered for.
From heather-clad moors and limestone scars, to market towns and the steady pace of country life - the sublime Dales await you! Where else in Britain is it as satisfying to sit and do nothing as it is to explore the numerous pursuits on offer?
