We had a 2 nights stay for my Graduation ball. We had a great time and it was excellent - the hotel itself and its location. In the rush at the night of the ball we forgot the key for the room inside and locked ourselves out. We had to ring the hotel early in the morning to open the door for us. We thought that the hosts wouldn't bother or if we did woke them up would be very angry however, they picked the phone and opened straight away. We were so relieved that it was all good at the end. The room was nice and spacious, nicely decorated with lovely mirrors on the wardrobe doors. We were on the ground floor and the room had a great view towards the back yard.Very spacious and comfy bed.

We stayed for three nights and got good value for money. The room was excellent with a huge flat screen t.v.The bathroom was small but ideal for us and was very clean.Oor room had direct access to the garden which was immaculately maintained and we felt was a quaint feature. We felt welcome to come and go as we pleased at all hours of the night.Parking spaces seemed limited at first but we had no issues obtaining a space over our three day stay.Would definately recommend to others. Modern decor, large t.v.,very clean, comfortable bed although it was two beds pushed together, however i can see that that is practical for the owners.Close to town and relatively close to the sea-side.

had an ok'ish welcome on arrival, we arrived early evening and the room was very cold, even on turning up the radiator the room never warmed up and with a young son wasn't great. The bedroom was ok, bit tatty around the edges and the bathroom was tiny and could do with re-decorating, overall wasn't particularly comfy. We booked quite late so had an offer and didn't pay full price, which I am glad of because I would have been more disappointed. The location isn't particularly attractive. the staff were helpful and I had to ask to stay a couple of hours longer on the morning of check out as my son was poorly and that wasn't a problem at all, although the room was very cold.

My partner and I, booked for 3 nights, due to a family emergendy we only stayed for 2 nights, but we had a lovely time. This hotel really goes to high levels to ensure youve got everything you need. We stayed in the superiour room, and it was beautiful. My partner was very please with the huge TV! there were alot of comments about bathrooms being small, which they are, but you only have a shower and brush your teeth, and theres plenty of room for that. An the power shower was always hot and love. We loved our roon, its the best room we have ever stayed in when going away for the weekend. Lush!

The room we went for was a supposedly a deluxe room. It was spacious but it still felt like a standard one. The kettle in the room was not working and it took almost 2 days for them to replace it. We requested a dvd player which was supposed to be a standard addition to the room but this took just as long as the kettle to be provided and even when it was, there was no remote control which prevented us from watching the movie in question (as the dvd player had no control buttons). The location was good i.e. close to the train station and of reasonable distant to the beach and city centre.

4 days in Bournemouth Lovely weather dictated all day shopping and sight seeing so to come back exhausted at the end of the day it was importent to have some comfort. The accommodation offered just that,a comfortable bed, coffee tea and a nice modern television (with all the channels)Helpful staff and a cleaned and tidy room,a pleasure to recuperate in.The only drawback was the distance from the town centre and the beach, but if you don't mind a fair walk it won't present too much of a problem. The price of the accommodation,The staff,The room.

We had a nice stay at this hotel. Not somewhere to stay if you want to spend loads of time in your room but we didnt so it was fine. The decor was okay but not amazing. Overall though decent value for money with a good, full breakfast included. Location close to town and train station but not directly in town center (5-10 minute walk). More of a B&B than a hotel. Staff were nice (though a bit agitated when we asked about water temperatures). Seemed to be family run with a very adorable and well behaved toddler there!

The hotel is good, clean and generally much nicer than all else in the area BUT when booking I would strongly advise requesting to NOT have room 12. This room is squeezed in between the breakfast room, kitchen & front door, and although is an adequate size suffers hugely from early morning noise. We were woken at 6.30am by opening and closing of kitchen cupboards and drawers, crockery, cutlery, children running up and down & shouting, dogs barking etc etc. Not a good start for a working day. Clean.

We booked A delux ensuite room with a Queen size bed but on walking into the room we noticed the bed looked as if the springs had gone on one side and the two chairs looked like they had cigarette burns in them. Fortunately the owner changed our room for another. hardly delux.description being large ensuite room having recently been refurbished. Decorated in a contemporary style they are spacious having a Queen size double bed, two chairs and coffeetabletable. Garden view from our room.

We were very happy with the hotel and its facilities, location and staff attention. The style of the bedroom was modern and very comfortable. Breakfast is of a very high standard. Staff are extremely helpful. Lady printed location for me following query. Wonderful service. Reasonably priced. I have absolutely no complaints to say about the hotel and for me that is rare. Allowing us to eat a takeaway downstairs as we were so tired following our day out with the children was superb.

We booked two nights at the last minute and were pleasantly surprised by the location and the amount of parking available. The room was ample in size but the bathroom in our deluxe en suite was tiny and bed was quite hard. Breakfast is served between 8-9am & has plenty of variety. The Ashleigh is more of a glorified b&b than a hotel but this shouldn't put anyone off staying there. Big room, decent choice of breakfast, good location for walking to town and beach

That was my first visit of the UK, I attended an internship interview. I was very pleased with the hotel staff and services they provided. The room was stylish, conscientiously tidied up, with big TV and some additional equipment in the wardrobe. I am very happy for the opportunity to stay in such a nice hotel. - location - near train station - breakfast was served early according to my needs - cleanliness - comfortable and big bed - friendly staff - taxi service

What was described as a renovated, quaint home, turned out to be a run-down unfriendly, B-grade establishment, masquerading as a "Bed and Breakfast". The pictures on the website of the bedroom were misleading, as the room in reality was old, and the carpets dirty. The breakfast was revolting to say the least - no effort was made, in fact the "croissants" were of the 'long-life variety, in packages from ASDA. Leaving The Ashleigh "Hotel"

We felt very welcome at the Ashleigh Hotel. We particularly enjoyed the freedom to choose what we ate for breakfast, and how much. The food was excellent and the staff very warm and welcoming. The decor in the hotel was was of a very high standard. We enjoyed the view over the back garden and the comfortable bed. The self-serve breakfast meant I could have what I wanted without having half a breakfast. The entire hotel was very clean.

Me and my partner stayed over for 3 nights with breakfast included. I found that our room did not feel very private, as we were in the bottom room close to the main entrance where people come and go so we always had to be careful when opening and closing the door because people can easily look in. The room had a modern decor and it was en suite. Staff were friendly enough. Breakfast was ok but did not feel like there was much choice.

My friend and I stayed for 2 nights, first for business as examination on the 2nd day, the 2nd night was for pleasure. Room was lovely. It was a little noisy during the nights but this was noise from outside so nothing that you can do about that. Good facilities, good and quick breakfast. I would stay again as reasonably priced, lovely rooms, comprehensive breakfast, clean, walking distance to town and friendly staff

2 nights due to business in Kinson nearby. Surrounding area not very attractive but the hotel was nice from outside so was pleased with this as I drove up. Car parking was no problem on both nights. Staff very pleasant. The room was very spacious and clean. Big Screen TV a bonus.I was unable to have breakfast at the times stated and was offered a huge continental breakfast that would have fed 2 people very impressed.

The room was very small but quite clean. Bed comfortable. Quite noisy as the hotel owners were having a party just close to my room, but it did not bother me as I was watching TV. Flush of the toilet not working properly. i. The lady who gave me the keys was nice, I guess she was the owner. Another lady who is working there, came across as quite energic, asking me whether I was sure to have booked a room there.I had.

We only stayed for one night so only had a small amount of interaction with staff and didn't make full use of the facilities but we had a very pleasant stay and would have been happy to stay longer if we had planned to. Every staff member we encountered smiled, made us feel welcome and showed an interest in us. There was a relaxed but professional atmosphere, and there was a good selection at breakfast.
