Located in the beautiful village of Ballyvaughan on the southern shores of Galway bay and surrounded by the Burren district, we look forward to welcoming you to Ballyvaughan Cottages, quality self-catering accommodation.

We are situated right in the centre of the beautiful Burren village of Ballyvaughan - the village is literally on our doorstep!
You can enjoy the wonderful surrounds of the Burren and North Clare, and in the evening relax at the village restaurants and pubs before strolling home.

Our cottages are child-friendly and we welcome families to come and enjoy their holiday with us.

We have free, secure car parking and free WiFi in our cottages.

The village of Ballyvaughan is situated on the Southern shores of Galway bay.

This is a gem of a location, providing peace and tranquility, yet within walking distance of all the services in the village and surrounded by many of the major tourist attractions of County Clare and the West of Ireland.

The cottages are snugly located in the former orchard grounds behind an old stone courtyard in Ballyvaughan.
The entrance to the homes is through an Archway from the Main Street. The Archway is located beside Quinn's Craftshop and L'Arco Italian Restaurant


Each cottage has its own private garden and the interiors are spacious, bright and sunny. Key features include ground floor accommodation, Digital TV, master bedroom en-suite and Gold Shield low cost energy consumption.


Ballyvaughan is a small harbour village in County Clare, Ireland. It is located on the N67 road on the south shores of Galway Bay, in the northwest corner of The Burren Today, Ballyvaughan's economy is mainly based on tourism. It has many pubs, restaurants, shops, B&Bs and other amenities including the new pier and slipway, constructed in 2006, which has opened up the area to boating, fishing, scuba diving and other maritime activities. Ballyvaughan is located on the Burren Way, a long-distance trail.

During the boom, Ballyvaughan had been tagged Ireland's 'Gold Coast' as a result of the huge rise in property prices in the area

Fab location. We were two couples and have just come home. The Cottages are located just off the main street in a very quite courtyard. Cottages were very comfortable. There is a great Italian restaurant near the cottages which we went to three times and very never disappointed. Will definitely be back again
