The cottage is in an excellent position for the town, there are pet friendly pubs and cafes within a short walking distance. There is an excellent walk to the rear of the property that we were only aware of from information in the cottage. The beds were extremely comfortable and the property was warm and clean.

Apartment was beautiful as was the scenery and views from large patio doors. Contents were all in good condition. We walked into Bowness every evening although the walk back was rather steep, but other than that we had a wonderful week.

A lovely clean house with good views and close to shops restaurants. It is on a quiet side road and had everything we could need for an enjoyable relaxing time. Bowness is nice and central to other towns such as Kendal, Keswick and Grasmere, and is a pretty place. Was busy in June but not overcrowded. Food in every restaurant was lovely and the people were friendly.

It was a really lovely apartment, clean and welcoming, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay thank you. It is a really good sized property and easy access to the town below as well as walks in nature. The kitchen is well stocked with cutlery, crockery as well as a dishwasher which was great, it was also very clean inside. The fireplace was wonderful to sit by.

The property is in very good location with the town only been 5mins walk. It has nice views over the lake and is a large comfy property. We really enjoyed staying in the property and at Bowness on Windermere, there are some really nice restaurants, walks and near surrounding towns. We would definitely return.

Excellent accommodation; clean and spacious, in a quiet area surrounded by countryside.
September 2014
This apartment is clean spacious and has everything you would need for an ideal trip to Bowness. It is situated up a steep hill but if you struggle with this there are plentiful taxis which are very inexpensive. For us with our dog it was ideal - short walk to the woods with access to al large field where he could run to his heats content. We would recommend this to anyone and will definitely return again.

Spent a week here in June 2014. First time in the Lake District as it's over 300 miles from us. Was home from home. Had everything we needed. Lovely comfortable bed, clean spacious property. Close to Bowness high street, shops, restaurant and the lake. Lovely views. Bit of a steep hill back up to property so fine if reasonably fit although you need to be here as everywhere is hilly. Thought property was good value compared to others in the area and much easier than flying abroad. All restaurants we tried were very nice and everyone was very friendly. Would go back and recommend.
