Spent the February half term week with 2 teenagers and a dog in Bell Horse cottage - which was very welcoming, warm and comfortable (thankfully as the weather was cold and blustery). The cottage is right in the heart of Ingleton, just a few steps from the shops, pubs and a justifiably famous waterfall walk.
We were a little nervous as to how well the teenagers would cope, but they loved their room, the fabulous bathroom, watching Dvds on the TV and making frequent trips the old fashioned sweet shop. We on the other hand enjoyed the lovely master bedroom on its own floor, the log burner that came with ample logs and the fact that everything was pretty much new and comprehensive.
We found it easy to make trips further afield, ending up in Malham, Blackpool and the Lake District. Can thoroughly recommend Inglesports outdoor gear shop in the village - they even have a climbing wall which was fun on a rainy day.
The landlord was very helpful - adjusting the hot water temperature, taking in our washing when the washing machine stopped working and sending on something we left behind.
Would definitely recommend this cottage - perhaps wifi would have been helpful (did get O2 3G on the top floor) and getting into the parking space is a little awkward
