The cottage was just like a home from home with everything you could possibly need. The rooms were huge, the beds comfy and the log burners were lovely. We would highly recommend this cottage.

Absolutely loved how warm, welcoming and spacious Bellcroft was. When all 7 of us arrived as soon as we entered the property we just said 'WOW!' its so stunning and big. We all felt extremely relaxed and the owner was so polite and welcoming when we needed to contact them. Couldn't recommend enough!!

It was very comfy and homely. A lovely house in a great location as we could access many areas easily. Really had an enjoyable time and would go there again.

This property is very tired and needs a considerable amount of work to merit the 5 tick rating it has with the agent that we booked through. There were plenty of cobwebs that needed removing and many of them clearly had been there a while. The water pump is so noisy you could hear it throughout most of the cottage, then the boiler packed up leaving no heating or hot water for three days.......and the immersion didn't work as back up. We were given an odd selection of temporary heaters which weren't that effective with temperatures dropping well below 10 degrees outside, this was made worse by the attitude of the owners who told us that..."these things happen", try telling a 7 month old baby that when you are trying to keep them warm.

We thought our holiday was brilliant. This property was actually ideal for us as well as my wife and myself we had also took the mother and father in law who were elderly and one of them was partially disabled so the cottage suited our needs perfectly. This was a very spacious property with everything you could possibly need for your stay. The owners should be very proud of themselves. It was worth every penny and more. It was very nice to come back to after a days sight seeing, This property has a wonderful kitchen and amazing beds,; We slept like logs.

We had a lovely weekend in Bellcroft, the cottage had plenty of space for us all. It was a lovely presented cottage, clean and plenty of everything you would need for a nice relaxing break. Bedrooms were all well presented and the beds were really comfortable.

A superb cottage with everything supplied. There were 8 of us but there was plenty of room not to get under each other's feet.

I so very much want to not post this review, so I can selfishly stay in this beautiful cottage for ever...but that wouldn't be fair on you lot! Listen very carefully.... This place is without doubt one of the most perfect holiday homes that you could ever wish to stay in...there, I said it!! It's perfect...down to the last exquisite detail. Spacious (cavernous actually...the kitchen is to die for), quirky, stylish (that word doesn't even do it's like stepping into a magazine on how to present a house). Huge garden and a great covered area with a hosepipe to wash the dogs/kids down after a countryside adventure! We only stayed for the weekend so I could have a handy base from which to visit/be visited by my family, who are from the area. There were 13 of us, all having a great time on Saturday was so Christmassy...that tree...the decor, the wood burning stoves (yes, there were two!). I was swept back to my childhood, where Christmas was a magical time where families get together and just had the time of their lives. We're going to do it all again next year, because it's just the perfect place to be at Christmas. By then, there will also be a new village store and coffee shop nearby, for all you townie types. For the more adventurous amongst you, I urge you to try the long, circular walk through the woods, up the valley and over the top of the hill...the view across to Moel Famau is fantastic. To sum up...great for families...beautiful location...fantastic value...every detail thought out carefully for your benefit ...what's not to like?! Oh, and the hosts/proprietors (Louise and Giles) are just so lovely too! This place will undoubtedly be very popular as word gets around. I've let the cat out of the bag, so get in there Christmas is already booked me! Best place I've ever stayed a country mile!

The cottage was absolutely brilliant!

Absolutely lovely cottage. Home from home, couldn't want for anything more . Such homely feeling. Plenty of utensils and kitchen equipment to the choice of games to entertain. Spacious, so much room no one got under anyone's feet, this included the dogs. Nice touch with the complimentary hamper and shower gels/shampoo. There were 6 of us, my son and his wife and 2 children ( teenagers) we didn't want to come home. We enjoyed the breakfasts and evening meals in the dining room, and the chats in the kitchen whilst cooking. We laughed whilst we played with the games with wood burner glowing. We would like to say a personal thank you to Louise and Giles for letting us share their lovely home.

Bellcroft cottage is a beautiful home and perfect for our needs. The kitchen was equipped with everything and more, it really is a stunning room to spend time in. The garden is a lovely space to relax and enjoy, either playing badminton, lounging and bird / squirrel watching. The property is without a doubt, the best property we've ever had a chance to stay in, a real home from home. It really is a gem and I would highly recommend it.
