This is a great property that we would very happily use again. The owner was very friendly.
The cottage is ideally situated for exploring the area and there were lovely walks in the local vicinity and further afield. It was very well stocked with everyday requirements and information for the surrounding area.
It was quiet and relaxing. It was a few yards to the riverside pub and the canal basin, with walks along the tow paths towards the town, there were plenty of places to exercise our dog. We certainly intend to return.
This is a lovely property in a wonderful area, perfectly placed to tour around the Peak District.
Had a lovely New Year break in Black Brook Cottage, it was warm and cosy with everything you would want for your stay and more. The local area was good for bars and restaurants in walking distance and convenient to travel to the Peak District and Manchester.
