Very welcoming on arrival: collected keys from friendly hotel staff. The lodge was perfect: lovely and clean, well furnished and decorated and a good size. Tranquil setting amongst beautiful scenery, peacocks roaming around the grounds! Fantastic walk through woodland path to safe sandy beach - and great facilities in the town. Can't wait to return!

We were over the moon with the standard of the property and the location within the grounds of Rushpool Hall in which the chalets were situated. Peacocks roaming around, beautiful scenery and a peaceful location: this holiday cannot be faulted! All in all a fantastic holiday, we will definitely return and recommend to friends.

Lovely cottage, comfortable and well equipped. Excellent location for exploring the local area. Can recommend Runswick Bay and espescially the local tea rooms. Saltburn by the sea is close by and well worth a visit.

A beautiful place for break. The cottage a very comfortable, warm, easy place to stay. The entrance hall had room for coats and shoes, there was a separate wash room where the boiler is, so it was warm to dry wet clothes shoes in the winter, and the shower was lovely. It is well situated in the large grounds of The Hall.
