We found the holiday house very comfortable, clean and tidy. Great to be able to walk out your door and to be in village life and mingle with the locals in the quaint interesting little shops. It was very central to what we wanted to see, In particular Portmeirion where we had a lovely day, The Harlech Castle which was in view, had plenty of history to discover, in walking distance from the house. Great views of the mountains and castle. The long sandy beach which seemed to stretch for miles, but had hardly a sole on it, was also walking distance. Our son enjoyed the many walks into the tree clad hills behind the town in the area and found interesting sites.

This is our third time at this cottage. It is lacking nothing. It is comfortable and extremely well equipped and plenty of hot water for showers. It is ideally situated for going north up the coast to Porthmadog or south to Barmouth and the osprey project site. We will book again.

This is a lovely cottage in great location. We thoroughly enjoyed our three day break; Harlech itself has much to offer and the Snowdonia scenery was stunning, ablaze with autumn colour. There was certainly no risk of running out things to do!

We loved the cottage and the area very much. It was lovely to go back to such a nice place after being out for the day, especially sitting on the decking area with the wonderful views of the castle and the sea. It was so relaxing. The owners were very helpful and pleasant too.

The cottage was really cosy and warm and just great for a winter holiday. The log burner was a must for us and was top of our wish list. We like to eat in and the kitchen was perfectly stocked with beautiful crockery, dishes, pans etc. So cooking in the compact kitchen was a dream. Bedrooms were clean and comfortable with a lovely spacious bathroom.

Central location in Harlech, cottage and garden probably the best we have ever stayed in. We have been staying in 4 and 5 star holiday cottages for many many years now, couldn't recommend it more highly. Loads to see do. Could go on and on thinking of things we liked for ever.

Great location - fantastic views of Harlech Castle and Snowdon from the cottage. Really comfortable beds, we really appreciated having summer-weight duvets available as well as winter-weight. High spec TV and entertainment equipment. Plenty of excellent guide books provided for the local area. Great views from the decked area of back garden.

The location of the cottage was excellent, and hearing the Welsh language, being spoken on a day to day basis, in shops and on the streets etc. The friendliness of the North Walians. So many historical sites to be visited. The drive through the heart of Wales with so much wonderful countryside to enjoy.

The raised patio area at Bodlondeb provided outstanding views of the beach, distant mountains and Harlech Castle. Located centrally to Harlech, Bodlondeb is only a couple of minutes walk away from the local, and it must be said welcoming, pubs, shops, cafes, restaurants and takeaways. 5 minutes walk along the main street brings you to a viewing area, providing a stunning opportunity to watch the sun setting on the horizon. Further afield, only an hours drive to Mount Snowdon and 20 minutes to Portmeirion. Leave the car at home and make use of a well connected, reasonably priced train service that takes in coastal and inland routes of incredible beauty. Bodlondeb is a very comfortable, well equipped, beautiful holiday home situated in an awe inspiring part of the country. We had a fantastic time and would like to thank the owners of Bodlondeb for providing such a wonderful base for our adventures in North Wales.

Very easy to find and very conveniently placed in the village. Great view of the castle especially from the top terrace garden. Nice shops a few steps away and some good tea rooms. The west Indian restaurant was an unexpected gem - delicious food. The cottage had all we needed and was easy to run. The parking restrictions are a minor hassle but car parks are cheap and not far away. The log fire/central heating worked overtime as the weather was very cold when we stayed. Once we were out, it was easy to access North Wales - would be good for Snowdonia.

Me and my partner stayed for a week in May. The first weekend we were joined by another couple of friends and the cottage is plenty big enough for 2 couples. It is very well equipped- - they have thought of everything in the kitchen. There's a dish washer, washing machine, tumble dryer etc. We ate in a couple of nights and there is a dining room table that expands.. The decking area is up some steep stairs and has beautiful views of the sea and castle. It was a shame the weather wasn't hotter as we would have liked to sit out there and have a BBQ. Beds, duvet and pillows were extremely comfortable, good storage. Bathroom lovely with a good shower and bath. All in all a great little cottage. Within walking distance you will find the castle, there is an Indian Restaurant, and a fantastic restaurant called The Plas - if you sit in the conservatory it has spectacular views of the coast and castle and we ate watching the sun going down. There's a pub just round the corner from the cottage and we joined in the Wednesday pub quiz and found the staff and locals were very friendly. Would recommend the cottage and would use Harlech as a base to explore North Wales again.
