Area
The region boasts miles of unspoilt, golden-sanded beaches and stunning countryside. Situated within this county are two areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the rugged Northumberland Park. Northumberland also hosts the greatest number of castles than anywhere else in Britain and the Island of Lindisfarne is said to be the birthplace of British Christianity. Bamburgh is a charming village made up of stone houses and located close to the sea. It has its own castle which was completely restored in 1900, which houses collections of antique china, porcelain, furniture, paintings, weapons and armour and is open to the public. Many of the area's attractions are easily accessible from Bamburgh, such as the Farne Islands and Dunstanburgh Castle. Bamburgh is also served by a number of shops, in addition to some pubs and restaurants of high reputation.

Region
Northumberland is a heady combination of fishing villages, market towns, sandy beaches, magnificent castles and historic Hadrian's Wall, tied together by beautiful countryside and abundant wildlife.

Ms Norrie
September 2015
Location - it was great for exploring Northumberland, enjoying the coast and going to Scotland. The kitchen was well-equipped and it was a pleasure to cook where everything worked! I loved the Northumberland cheeses sold at The Pantry in Bamburgh and my husband enjoyed the peaceful relaxing driving. GS Clark was the other shop in Bamburgh and it sold everything, even taking newspaper tokens.

Third time at Brada! we obviously must like Bamborough (which we do) and Brada is a really class place to base a good holiday on. A very nice well appointed apartment in a lovely secluded area, but easy access to pub and shop - what more could you want ?

Being in Bamburgh, so close to beach, easy to pop back to cottage if it started raining. Also close to bus stops for trips. Lovely and quiet, I slept better than usual. Comfortable cottage to just stay and watch DVDs on the day the weather was really impossible.

We had not visited Northumberland before and were enthralled by the sheer beauty and solitude of the place. Bamburgh is an idyllic village, with stunning views of the castle an a lovely, unspoilt beach that literally runs for miles. Plenty to do and excellent walking country.

I can not recommend this apartment strongly enough to anyone wanting a holiday in the idyllic village of Bamburgh. Once again we opened the door to an extremely welcoming, comfortable well equipped holiday apartment. Our second visit to Brada View was not a disappointment. Yet again it was spotlessly clean, with everything we needed. We especially like the location as it is so close to the centre of the village, and the beautiful castle. We cant wait to visit again, as many other families have. Thank you once again to the owners for sharing their holiday home. Brada - can't wait to come back!

We have stayed in Brad View a few times now and absolutely love it. It is so comfortable, really well equipped and furnished and extremely child friendly which is a great bonus for us. Added to that, the location - only a very short work from the green and beach at Bamburgh - make it one of the best places we have ever stayed. Hope to be back soon.
