A lovely cottage in a pretty very friendly village. The whole holiday was a delight.
The cottage provided the perfect place to relax and unwind with every provision catered for.
It was a very pretty location, a quiet area with very friendly locals. It was a very comfortable cottage and it was good for us that we could take our dog with us. There were plenty of nice walks within easy reach.
The cottage was very cosy and comfortable. It was well situated to visit many historical sites and scenic areas. The village was friendly and had great places for eating out.
This was a very pleasant cottage and village. The owner was very friendly and the village was welcoming. Local Inn's also very friendly. Would go back.
All in all we had a very good holiday. The cottage was ideal for us and it was a bonus to be able to take our dog with us. We loved the area around Denholm and were fortunate with the weather.
A clean cosy comfortable cottage with the luxury of a wood burner. In a quiet village handy for visiting the border towns. The village has two nice friendly pubs, a PO and a great butchers shop.
A delightful cottage, everything you need and more.
This is a very spacious cottage and the standard of furniture and fittings throughout the property is excellent. It is well situated in Denholm (a lovely quiet village) from which the Scottish Borders and further afield can easily be explored.
A nice spacious cottage which was clean and well decorated. The kitchen was easy to work in and the new log burner was easy to use and gave a very good heat. The beds were comfortable. It was in a good location.
A great stay in a comfy, well equipped cottage. The village of Denholm is very attractive and welcoming.
A comfortable Cottage in a delightful small village.
Cottage was great, spacious, very well presented. Perfect for us and our baby. Good lication too in lovely village with bistro, coffee shop, pubs and shop. Would definately go again
Stayed here for a week and could have stayed forever! The cottage has everything you could possibly need to enjoy a relaxing stress free time in the beautiful Scottish Borders. Located in the heart of the village a stones throw from the pubs and restaurant, the cottage provided us with a superb base to explore the area. Only 5 minutes from the convenience of supermarkets in Hawick yet far away enough to preserve that intimate friendly essence of village life. The cottage had a very comfortable living room with wood burning stove that was epically warm! Hard wood logs were provided (at reasonable cost) The kitchen was modern and filled with all manner of equipment. The small outside area was secure to let the dog have a moment of fresh air as required but the garden which was tucked down the bank was large and gave our lab a great space to chase his ball! It was also very secure! The bedrooms were comfy and the bathroom spotless. All in all a great stay we will be back!
easy to find. Owner very helpful and nice. spacious rooms. beautifully decorated.
Lovely log burner for the chilly evenings/days.
The village has a small butcher, post office/general store. Couple
of pubs... Fox and hounds and the Cross Keys plus Italian restaurant and coffee shop
Locals all very friendly. Nearest supermarkets are in Hawick... we found Morrisons and Sainsbury.
Lovely quiet village.
The cottage was great, it was well appointed and the garden was a lovely place to chill at the end of the day. It is also in a great place to explore the borders with loads of good walks a short drive away.
