This cottage is a real find. It is within a few steps of an excellent pub/restaurant and there were lots of local attractions, walks, etc. It was extremely comfortable and warm accommodation. Five stars.

We keep going back to Bramble Cottage. It is welcoming, warm and has everything we need. The cottage is well situated for walking from the door or touring and quiet in spite of its village situation.

Bramble Cottage is a very comfortable and homely cottage which is very well equipped. It is well located in a quiet village, with good walking from the doorstep and further afield. There are interesting places to visit nearby, so there are lots of options for wet days.

A really lovely property. Very comfortable and warm on a very cold and wintry weather week.

Excellent quality of the accommodation and general atmosphere of the village in which it was set, ease of access to surrounding area yet perceptible isolation from general civilisation.

We had a lovely holiday, the cottage was very comfortable with great views from the windows. It was well equipped had plenty of space for the 5 of us. The garden was really nice with lots of birds coming to the feeders. The village is pretty very peaceful. Would pick this cottage for our next holiday in this area.

Bramble cottage is ideally located for just relaxing indoors, or exploring the area with access to local facilities only a ten minute drive away. The cottage is very well equipped throughout with everything you could wish for, and more! The wide variety of information about the area including leaflets, reference books, guides, maps and walk books were very helpful on our first proper visit to this area. There are also plenty of novels, videos, dvds and cds for entertainment during relaxed evenings by the fire.

We have holidayed in self catering cottages on many occasions during the last 35 years, through all of the different agencies, but this is probably the best cottage we have ever been to. The cottage was excellent and the area outstanding.

We had an amazing start to 2014 at Bramble Cottage. Inviting and so cosy after all our walks to burn off Christmas excesses! Although the delicious food at the nearby Angel Inn rather spoilt our efforts.. All we needed and more was provided so thoughtfully by the owner, allowing us, our children and friends who joined us a totally fabulous break after the frantic lead up to Christmas. There was even a little Christmas tree and a bottle of wine when we arrived! A cupboard of DVD 's and games we could all enjoy and plenty of logs to ensure toasty relaxation all round! Hetton is such a pretty village and the cottage is perfectly placed to explore the beautiful areas close by and enjoy some of the incredible walks...we climbed to Rylstone war memorial and even completed the Ingleton Waterfall walk, not bad considering the children in our group ranged from 9 to 13 years old!! We deserved to relax after that.. We popped to LongAcres for a day pass, well worth looking at for the pool etc, particularly when the weather is against you, that said even on the wet days, North Yorkshires scenery is sensational. All in all a superb cottage, where we made lovely memories and had the perfect beginning to a New Year.

Bramble cottage is simply lovely. It's within easy reach of the whole of the Dales. A glorious location in a tastefully decorated and very cozy cottage with lots of space and equipped with all you could need. Nothing is overlooked. We are due to go back in March for a special birthday! Nowhere else we'd want to be!

We stayed in Bramble Cottage and would find it hard to say anything negative about it. The minute you unlock the door you feel warmth oozing out of every room as its character just tells you the owner is making sure your stay is perfect. Have not stayed in a better place in England, there is so much information in the large info. pack you will not have any bother with anything be it how to operate the Dishwasher to where the toy box is....... The rooms are spacious and well kept, and the beds all made up ready, what a treat !!! Bramble Cottage is the middle of 3 houses in a small close but access and parking was never a problem. The Angel pub/eaterie is all of 100 yds. from the front door, along with many good places to eat in nearby Villages if you dont want to cook in the well equipped kitchen. A great welcome pack of tea, coffee, milk, biscuits and wine.. what more do you need to compliment the roaring log fire all ready laid to just light the match to. We would reccomend this cottage to anyone, we hope to return in a different season as there is so much to do.... and hopefully drink the bottle of wine relaxing on the patio furniture in the lovely garden !!!!!!!!!!! :-)

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Bramble cottage. The photos do not really indicate how spacious the cottage is and the log fire is fabulous after a walk. The kitchen is very well equipped and there is a dining room with lovely views-but if you don't want to cook The Angel is at the end of the road and there are several other good food pubs in the vicinity. Very pretty bedrooms and bathroom ,it was great to pull back the curtains to such a stunning view in the mornings, and the downstairs cloakroom is handy. We were an adult party but there are good facilities for children, including a cupboard full of toys. Skipton is near for stocking up and there are numerous lovely villages to visit and walks right from the door.We were grateful for the welcome pack of goodies too and will be back for more relaxation here !
