The cottage is set over four floors, with a king-size double room on the second floor, and a first floor king-size double bedroom, and a shower room on the first floor. Outside, there is free roadside parking outside the cottage for one car with a short walk to the town centre. Broughton House is a wonderful base for small groups of family and friends exploring west Yorkshire, discovering all that this glorious area has to offer.

Area
The attractive Pennine town of Hebden Bridge is located within the Calderdale area and is home to the picturesque Rochdale canal and delightful Victorian railway station. Alternatively, visitors can enjoy a scenic ride over the moors to Haworth, home to the Parsonage Museum that commemorates the famous Bronte family who lived there. Steam railway enthusiasts will enjoy the thriving Worth Valley Railway, and the highly acclaimed Eureka Museum is in Halifax - noted for its unique Piece Hall and Victorian architecture. Skipton, sometimes called the 'Gateway to the Dales', is an easy and scenic car ride away.

Broughton House was absolutely charming and a lovely conversion job has been conducted on the house. The kitchen was VERY well equipped, the best I've ever seen and there was a good selection of books, DVDs and games. The bathroom is small but that's the nature of the house, it was all very pretty. The beds were comfortable, the house warm, and overall we had a wonderful stay. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to friends and hope we get an opportunity to stay there again. The location is great, very close to town. The key code box meant there was ease of getting in as we arrived late at night.

The house was very cute and cosy and not to far to walk into Hebden Bridge.
