We liked the peace and quiet, the birds and feeding station in the garden, the accessibility to the moors, coast and cities. The house was comfortable and cosy. We felt so at home.

The house was a joy to arrive at, it was spacious and clean with a garden with birds and so much space for the children to play - they loved everything too. The countryside around was so lovely and it was not too far to visit the coast and York.

The house was very comfortable and well equipped. We found it a very good price for the size of the property and the location was lovely. There were plenty of footpaths within walking distance of the cottage to explore.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Burnside. The house was clean and tidy and the garden was a real highlight; a beautiful open space with views to the hills and the White Horse. Would love to return soon!

We had a fabulous time at this beautiful house. Burnside is ideal for both walkers and castle fanatics. Spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. I would thoroughly recommend Burnside to anyone wanting to tour this part of Yorkshire.

The property was spotlessly clean and well equipped. The kitchen was well equipped and the range cooker was excellent easy to use. The furnishings were all of a good quality and comfortable. The owner had left plenty of tourist information to help you decide were to visit. Overall a very enjoyable break.

This cottage is in an excellent location for touring. It is lovely and well-kept, as is the village. The owners of Burnside are friendly and helpful. The front and back gardens are both delightful. The cottage has everything provided for, and the luxury of space! The bathroom/shower rooms are huge and the beds and sofas are comfortable. There are lovely views both front and back, and the village is peaceful and quiet. There is plenty of parking. Without exaggeration, we felt this was our home from home.

What an amazingly well appointed place. Huge rooms and stunning garden. Wonderful equipment and furniture throughout. The only downside is the nearby pig farm....if you are downwind, you will know! We will definitely be back though! Incredible place!
