Kinvara has many excellent bars/restaurants and Irish music can be heard in the local bars most nights. It hosts the traditional Irish music festival, known as Fleadh na gCuach (The Cuckoo Fleadh) on the May Bank Holiday weekend each year, and Cruinniu na mBád festival in August, where turf boats and other traditional craft compete in a host of exiting races and events. On the October bank holiday weekend, Gort hosts the Joe Cooley Traditional Music festival.
From Kinvara, turn onto Gort road out of the village. Take a right and proceed for approximately 100metres, house is on the left.
