Caher House is a detached dormer bungalow near the hamlet of Neale, 2.5 miles from Ballinrobe in County Mayo. The cottage has two first floor double rooms with en-suiteshower rooms, and a double and a twin on the ground floor, along with a family bathroom. There is a kitchen which leads to the sun room with dining area, and a sitting room with an open fire. Outside is ample off road parking and a large lawned front garden with furniture. Caher House makes an ideal family base for enjoying the fishing, walking and sightseeing of the area.
The vibrant town of Ballinrobe is situated by the River Robe in County Mayo, close to Lough Corrib and Lough Mask. Dating back to the 1300s, it is thought to be the oldest town in South Mayo. The town now has a wide variety of shops, restaurants, and pubs and its location makes it an ideal base to explore County Mayo and County Galway. There are a number of outdoor activities available in the area, from fishing on the nearby lakes to a round of golf on one of the many fine golf courses in the area. Further away and roughly a two-hour drive lies the National Park of Connemara with wonderful walks and breathtaking scenery. This is a wonderful region for a holiday at any time of year.
