Situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Chisel Barn is a new conversion designed and fitted to the highest standards. The barn consists of two, light and airy properties that, if rented together, will accommodate ten people. Both properties are single storey, with a large, double height kitchen and living space.
Chisel Barn Whites Ground is furnished to a high standard throughout and offers spacious and stylish accommodation. The property retains many original features including exposed beams and limestone flooring. The property is set in stunning countryside and offers far reaching views from the furnished terrace.
The barns were the base for a large and successful dairy enterprise and remain part of a working farm, with the adjoining buildings still actively being used for stock.
For Guests who wish to bring their horses, Chisel Barn offers the ideal setting and facilities as detailed below:
Basic barn stabling and grazing is available at an additional charge of £10 a horse. Bedding available by arrangement. Guests would need to supply their own feed, water buckets and equipment. Use of a Cross Country Course (beginner to 3’3”) is available at Chisel Barn and forms part of the working farm. Usage is dependent on availability and farm usage, please discuss requirements at the time of booking.

For larger groups Chisel Barn Whites Ground can be booked together with Chisel Barn Foxditch to accommodate groups of up to ten.
Situated on the ground floor. Spacious open plan living, kitchen and dining area with limestone flooring, exposed beams, underfloor heating and log burning stove. Furnished with a sofa and armchair seating six, coffee table and side tables. Features a 40” flatscreen TV complete with Freeview, DVD player and iPod docking station. Wi-Fi internet access is available.
Cooking & Dining
Country style kitchen situated on the ground floor. Features an electric double oven, hob, grill, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher and fridge freezer. Fully equipped with a range of utensils and accessories including a microwave, toaster and kettle. An iron, ironing board and vacuum cleaner are available. A high chair is available. Food packs can be ordered from Goldhill Organic Farm Shop.
The dining area features a table seating six.

Furnished with a ‘zip and link’ bed that can be arranged as twin beds or super king-size on request, wardrobe, chest of drawers and two bedside tables complete with lamps. Features a 20” flatscreen TV. A travel cot is available. En suite to bedroom one features a shower, WC, wash basin, heated towel rail and mirror.

Tennis coaching available on request for children under 12 years of age during school holidays – charges apply.
Courtyard parking for two cars.
This property operates a Friday changeover during July and August.
