Cobblestones is a warm and comfortable accommodation, ideal location for access to surrounding tourist sites.

This is a beautiful, cosy cottage and we loved the garden room. The owners had thought of everything and there was a perfect garden for dogs. We will definitely use the cottage again.

It was just ideal in almost every way; comfortable very well equipped with an attractive garden. In a quiet location but it was easy to get to other places of interest.

The cottage is lovely, very well presented. Loved the sleep quality; the beds were large comfortable with nice pillows. The location of Cobblestones is a couple of minutes by car to the A1 for exploring the area which is great, and for walkers, they could go off from the doorstep. The owners of Cobblestones should be very proud of their property, it is a credit to them and a great base to explore from. Would love to stay again but would have to book well in advance I think!

We absolutely loved our little getaway in this delightful cottage. The wild burning fire made it feel so cosy, especially with the rain and wind we had that weekend. I don't normally stay in the same place more than once but I could see myself returning here. It was so peaceful and quiet yet so conveniently located near the A1 that it was never a hassle to get out and about. The local pub was a huge bonus too!

Fantastic holiday the best cottage and private garden we have ever stayed at. Will be going back, can not find anything wrong to say about it, truly amazing.

This cottage is absolutely delightful, with loads of room inside and out. It is decorated and furnished to a very high standard, everywhere is very light and airy and extremely comfortable. Newton on the moor is a lovely village and very quiet but the A1 a couple of miles away makes all Northumberland has to offer easily accessible. Highly recommended and will book again.

I can't add anything better than the first reviewer - everything they said is spot on (can't vouch for the pet's happiness as we didn't bring one. Very comfortable and everything thought about and catered for. Main thing to add is what a great part of the world Northumberland is - we didn't get to do everything we planned in a fortnight (castles, beaches, Hadrian's Wall all in easy reach). This is probably one of the counties missed as a destination as people drive up and down through it to Scotland. Only final thing to add is that the photos probably don't do justice to the place, it's a nice size but the rooms feel bigger than the pictures show.

Cottage very comfortable and a gorgeous, secure garden for the dog. Lovely village.

A beautiful cottage, everything was top quality. Could not have been improved in any way. It was spotlessly clean and the garden was great for children and dogs. It was within easy reach of the coast and the countryside. The owners had thought of everything to make the holiday perfect.

Cobblestone cottage is a diamond and a credit to it's owner. For me & my family it as everything we needed and more, very well present, everything of good quality, enough space for 4 and a dog, large comfortable beds, loads of towels and even pack of bathroom cosmetics. The welcome pack left by the owners was a joy to behold and included a homemade Drizzle cake. Bailey was not forgotten with a pot of treats and even a roll of poo bags. Broadband / WiFi, Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, washing machine and tumble dryer in utility, dishwasher, TV with Freeview, DVD, CD/radio, iPod dock, WiFi, selection of books, games and DVDs, Off road parking for 2 cars, Sitting room with woodburner and access to garden room with dining area, external utility.are all feature. Cobblestones is in the village of Newton on the Moor, which is basically a one road village but is a few minutes off the A1 and makes this an excellent base for exploring and although the cottage is only around 20/30 yards from the road, it is quiet and sleep quality is excellent. We would certainly rent this cottage again.
