Cork Sherkin Island description

Ideal for family holidays, sleeps 6 (possibly 8, but please enquire) due to the proximity of safe and clean beaches - and has everything you could possibly require to have a relaxing break.

This superb house has every possible convenience, including Sky TV and is decorated to a very high standard. In addition, the luxury accommodation has a stunning view of the Cuinne, an inlet from Roaring Water Bay, where you can sit from the comfort of the living area, and view the colours changing on the heather over the hills and fish jumping in the Cuinne.

This house is a 5 - 10 minute walk from two very safe beaches and approximately 20 minutes from both the Island's Pub, The Jolly Roger and the Hotel, the Islander's Rest (Wi-fi available), both of which provide excellent food, company and music.

€550 to €600 off-peak (October-April),

€650 to €750 (May, June and September)

10% discount for multiple weeks available.

Christmas, (price on request). Bank holiday weekends from €500 off-peak. Security deposit €400.

The island is home to a 15th Century Franciscan Friary and one of the ruined O'Driscoll Castles, Dun-na-Long, which are to be found in many locations in this neighborhood of West Cork. Spacious, light and bright house. Perfect, all facilities. Nice walk to the pub and back over a small road, meandering through the beautifull landscape. And the Jolly Roger is a must !!!
