A recently renovated and extended traditional cottage, set along the coastline between Clifden town and Ballyconneely village, a popular and sought after holiday area in Connemara. A perfect and tranquil area for artists and writers to relax and to work. There are many awe inspiring views of interest in the area including Mannin Bay, The Coral Strand, The Sky Road, and many other points along Connemara’s Wild Atlantic Way. The immediate area surrounding the cottage is steeped in history and heritage, with the Alcock & Brown landing site, and the old Marconi station just a short stroll away. The cottage boasts a thoroughly relaxing countryside location, and yet is only a 5 minute drive to the local towns and villages of Clifden and Ballyconneely. The towns and villages provide lots of places to eat and drink and have an abundance of shops which will supply you with everything you need for your self-catering holiday. An ideal location for exploring all that the Connemara region has to offer. Kylemore Abbey, Connemara National Park, Connemara Golf Links, Dogs Bay and many more attractions and activities are all just a short drive away and waiting to be explored. The area is ideal for those that enjoy activities such as walking, sailing, golf deep sea fishing, cycling, sightseeing, sampling the local cuisine or simply relaxing in front of a cosy fire.



2 Bedrooms – Sleeps 4. Both bedrooms are have double beds along with ample storage and hanging space. One of the bedrooms has an additional single bed if required. The entrance hall opens into the living room which has ample comfortable seating, multi-channel TV and a wood burning stove. The bedrooms are accessed from each side of the living room. The property was extended to include a spacious modern fitted kitchen and family bathroom with WC, sink and shower. The kitchen is well equipped with all necessary equipment. The kitchen opens to a dining area with a large table and chairs, as well as a large sofa for comfort seating. The dining area offers fantastic views of the Atlantic Ocean, Mannin Bay and Errislannan Peninsula. The property may not be suitable for small children due to its proximity to the sea. Electricity and heat included. Towels and bed linen included.
