Wonderful cottage in the centre of Grantown on Spey. The cottage was very comfy and always warm. There was so much to do in the local area and many of the activities are not dependant on the season making it a great February get away.

The location is quiet, ideal for walking to the local woods which are extensive. Travelling to places of interest on relatively quiet roads was so pleasant. Shopping was made easy as was within a few minutes of the cottage. Very lucky as an entire week of sunshine added to the experience.

The cottage is small but ideal for a couple or perhaps a couple with one child. It had everything you need, very clean and very well placed. It was lovely and quiet and the off road parking was great. The owners were very helpful and responded quickly to any questions. It was close to shops and ideally placed for skiing, walking or sightseeing. A very good little base and I would be happy to stay there again and recommend it to friends.

The easy access to so many attractions and, being in the town, the ease of shopping for food. The information packs in the cottage are very helpful for planning days out and these is so much available within close proximity to Grantown. The cottage is in a perfect location if, like me, you go for the fishing and the walking.

I love everything about Scotland and hope to come up and live there soon. Grantown is very well placed for touring the highlands. The people are very friendly. There are plenty of attractions if that is what you want. The scenery is stunning and the wildlife prolific. This cottage was in evey way perfect for me.

Grantown on Spey is a real gem, lovely location, lovely people and a great base for touring the highlands. Cragview is a lovely, cosy cottage and having travelled 300 miles on a motorbike, it felt very welcoming. We would recommend the cottage to anyone wanting to spend time in the Highlands. We plan to visit again next year, many thanks to Sykes for providing such quality care.

Grantown on Spey is a lovely town with all the facilities you could need and very friendly people. The cottage was, indeed, central for many of the attractions we wanted to visit. The property was comfortable and all needs had been anticipated e.g. the provision of clingfilm and bags for packed picnics. All this contributed to an enjoyable and worry free holiday.

The accommodation was very clean and the description of the property was a true reflection of what I found on arrival. The location was superb just a couple of minutes walk from the shops, bars and restaurants. Grantown is a superb place, clean and very friendly and ideally situated for numerous activities.

The cottage was a major plus but also the amenities in the town were first class and the activities to be found around the area would suit every one.

A small poblem occured at the cottage and the owner, who lives a very good car ride from the cottage, came at once to rectify it. We were very impressed. This was the third time that we have stayed at Craigview and we find the cottage well appointed, warm and comfortable. It is idealy set in a very quiet cul de sac off the main street which is means that one can stroll into town without using the car. The woods and river are close by and the hills and coast (Findhorn) not far away. As we are fond of wildlife we enjoyed seeing five red squirrels within half and hour of arriving and walking to the old Spey Bridge. The abundance of wildlife is one of the pleasures of this area.We will returrn next year to Craigview.

Excellent service and the location was perfect for the town and the amenities. The owner was a phonecall away and helped us find the property, which we struggled with a bit. confused by the fact that there were a number of properties with the same house number. The only thing I wasn't keen on was the bathroom which was small and difficult to access and the door to it ill fitting, but otherwise a very modern and comfortable cottage. Highly recommended

A comfortable cottage with more facilities than we required. The use of the shed as a bicycle store was much appreciated. Convenient parking. Local facilities comfortably within walking distance. Booking with Sykes was straightforward.

The cottage had everything one needed. Clean and comfortable. Weather was not to good when we visited but the cottage was warm and cosy. The cotttage was very central for visiting various locations in that part of Scotland. On the doorstep were shops and just round the corner a lovely woodland area for walking. One of the nicest things about the location where the friendly people and brilliant scenery. Cannot think of anything we did not like.

the cottage was very nice and cosy with everything you could hope for in fact better because you could if needed to do washing and get it dry in the drier which many other places do not have. the cottage was nice and clean and well looked after to a high standard.

There are only three suggestions I have: 1) Heated towel rod and better heater in the bath - it was so cold towels never came close to drying and the heater shut off mid-shower. 2) Verify with local caretaker that the reserve heater is on. Landlord said he had requested but when we arived (a day behind schedule, no less) the heater had not been turned off so the flat was very cold 3) Please put a snow shovel in the shed (we presumed a former guest may have 'borrowed' it last winter. There were, thankfully, two big push brooms to clear snow and plenty of grit (but no shovel to spread it with...) Overall, we loved it. Kitchen is very well appointed and we were pleasantly surprised with the experience

The cottage was good value for money. Everything you need for self catering accommodation. We were a party of three adults and it worked well for us. The kitchen was well stocked with equipment. The lounge diner was ideal for our needs. The beds were comfortable.
