“We had the loveliest time staying at CrannÓg. You can't help but get a real sense of nature, we loved the woodland walks and visiting all the farm animals and the gardens are so beautiful. The cabin we stayed in was so comfortable and quaint and everyone we met over the course of our stay was so friendly and welcoming. I really hope to come back and stay in the not too distant future!

August 2013
Myself and the extended family stayed in Crann Og twice last year, first in march and then in August. The first time comprised of my two brothers, myself and my dog. We stayed in the cabin and enjoyed the experience so much that we came back in August. This time bringing wives, kids and three dogs, ten people in total. I stayed in the yurt this time. Waking up in the yurt in a wonderful experience in its self. Overall everything is as one would wish it to be. There is a family and pet friendly atmosphere and plenty of exploring to be done. The website gives a fair impression of whats on offer. For me personally the tag line "A Place to Be" seemed a little hokey at first. However after just a day or two there I had changed my opinion. The combination of horse's,fancy sheep, local friendly dogs, chicken's(Mmmmm fresh egg's), ancient woodland, small lake, ubiquitous greenery and wildlife of all types made one feel changed. Such that even though there lots of activities to engage in at anytime, it was not always necessary to be running and rushing to feel like you were getting the most from your time there. Some of my happiest memory's are of simply sitting in the cabin, yurt, or outside and watching nature take its course. In short "a place to be" indeed. Everything is clean with a rustic feel to it, with the beds being particularly comfortable. Flor and Marion could not have been more accommodating. And if its your thing and you manage to get Flor to the local "McCarty's bar", a word of warning, when it comes to darts he's a real assassin. I'm looking forward to my next visit
