An excellent apartment in a great location close to everything that North Wales has to offer. The apartment was well furnished, had wonderful views across Anglesey and most importantly was nice and cosy. The owner was a great host and was very helpful and friendly. I'd recommend it to anyone who wants a comfortable stay with nice views in a central location close to the mountains, castles, towns and coasts of North Wales.

Probably the best apartment I have ever rented. It was brilliant and everything you could possibly need was taken care of. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The views were stunning and the property was well situated to take advantage of all Snowdonia has to offer. I cannot praise it enough. I'm looking forward to returning when I can.

Everything in the cottage was of very good quality. The owner took care to introduce the facilities to us. For 2 people, it was spacious. The view is brilliant. We would have no hesitation in returning. This was one of the best, if not the best cottage we have ever stayed at.

This is an excellent base for a holiday exploring the North Wales coast. The combination of castles, bird reserves and natural scenery is unbeatable. The accommodation is well-organised, compact and comfortable for two people. It is also very well positioned, with the lounge (and patio outside) having extensive views over the Menai Straits and Anglesey. Highly recommended.

This was an outstanding apartment. It was well-planned and furnished, the location and views were excellent, and (although quiet and secluded) it was close to the main road allowing us to travel easily around the region. Local facilities, including an excellent pub/restaurant, were in walking distance. We certainly hope to return in the future.

The owners were very welcoming and had thought of everything. The apartment is immaculate and was a comfortable home from home for us - ideal when travelling with a baby. The location was great - spectacular views over the Menai strait and within easy reach of Caernarfon, Snowdonia and Anglesey with so many things to do and see.

A beautiful apartment with stunning views across the Menai Strait to Anglesey and a very warm welcome from the owner. The apartment was beautifully furnished and had everything needed for a relaxing break, there is so much to see and do in the area that more visits will be needed. I would definitely recommend the property to family and friends and am hoping to be able to return again myself.

I liked the situation and views, it also had easy access to Angelsey, Snowdonia, Bangor and Caernarfon. There was not one thing I didn't like and will definitely be going back.

We had a brilliant holiday in North Wales. Y Felinheli was a very good and convenient base for visiting castles, Snowdonia, Anglesey, Portmeirion and Llandudno. The apartment was spacious and beautifully appointed. We had everything we wanted and the owner was very kind and welcoming. The views over the Straits were breathtaking - I am sure I saw the tide turn one day.

Haven't booked a 'cottage-rental' for a few years now. This turned up trumps, beautiful place & lovely location with one hiccup - get used to hill climbs if you are driving. It's bit of an up & down journey. Made it quite memorable, but would dread it in bad weather conditions. The apartment is quite spacious & well fitted out. There shouldn't be anything else you need. The seating on terrace is a little gem, was above the Menai Strait, albeit can be blustery. Great place to tour especially Anglesey - would recommend it. Owner is wonderful & left a great starter pack for us. Thanks for memorable holiday

The apartment was very well appointed with everything you could possibly need for self-catering. The apartment itself was clean, comfortable and very tastefully decorated. The views over the Menai Strait from the lounge and verandah were stunning. The welcome was very warm and friendly and concern was shown that we had everything we would need. The apartment well situated for all tourist attractions in North Wales (10 minutes from Snowdon itself). We would have no hesitation in booking this apartment again when we re-visit North Wales.

From the moment to the moment we left, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Crud Yr Awel. The welcome we received from the owner was very friendly and informative. The views from the terrace overlooking the Menai Strait and Anglesey were breathtaking. We were also able to enjoy superb sunsets. The apartment was very well equipped and included free wifi access. It is ideally located for exploring the local area. Anglesey, Caernarfon, Porthmadog and Snowdon are all within easy reach. We would definitely return for another stay. Thank you Iwan for making us feel so welcome and for providing a lovely holiday apartment.
