We stayed here for a week. Beautiful, quiet, yet convenient location. Can't think of a more useful place to stay on Mull. Only 10 mins from Tobermory, 10 mins from the Oban ferry, and directly on the crossroads for the scenic roads of mull. Good shop and post office across the road, pub just a short walk away. Everything about the cottage was lovely, from the well stocked kitchen to the cosy living room. We particularly enjoyed eating our breakfast in the kitchen, watching the birds, pheasants, hens, rabbits and sheep(!) wandering around. Great supply of walking books and OS maps, these were well used as we walked almost every day. Overall just fab. The owner was very friendly and informative on the phone too.
Main downside was that the stove was a bit temperamental. We have one at home so generally know how to work them, but it didn't draw well even with well seasoned wood and kindling and would inevitably just smoulder. The heating, however, was excellent, so it wasn't a problem. The TV also had poor sound quality.. it was a challenge to watch the supplied DVDs on the only day we stayed in. Again not a deal breaker at all. We don't go on holiday to watch films!
