The cottage has a double room with an en-suite basin and WC, and a twin room, along with a family bathroom. Downstairs is a kitchen with dining area and an arch leading to a cosy sitting area. This charming settlement retains its traditional, rural feel and boasts a stream which winds through the outskirts of the village in addition to whitewashed Lakeland cottages, a well-maintained green and a real ale inn, full of character. Points of interest nearby include Mirehouse - a grand home and gardens on the shores of the Lake - Trotters Farm, and Dodd Wood. Most of the attractions of the wider region are within easy driving distance whilst the quieter Northern Fells are almost on the doorstep. The towns of Cockermouth and Keswick and close by and both host weekly markets and a good range of other amenities.

Impressive mountains, open fells and clear-water lakes, the Lake District has it all. From walking in the mountains to exhilarating watersports or just a gentle cruise on a steam-powered yacht, Cumbria is the perfect holiday destination.

This was a lovely cottage to stay in. Set in beautiful countryside and an easy trip into Keswick with fantastic walks in the surrounding area. The owners were very friendly and the cottage was comfortable and well equipped. Other cottages surround Dash, but there was plenty of space for everybody; an open space for children to play and the small shared enclosed garden overlooking fields was a nice space to sit and read. Dog friendly for holiday-makers with pets.

This was a lovely property in a peaceful area. It was extremely well stocked and great for our group. We were a mile away from the pub which provided good food but there were also excellent facilities at the house for cooking. We enjoyed walks from the property and near Keswick.
