Dodd cottage is beautiful, as is the view from the garden. We had a wonderful week and can't wait to return.
The cottage was cosy and had everything we needed for a long weekend family gathering. It was a joy to come back to at the end of a day walking. We loved the peaceful surroundings and amazing views (once the fog lifted!). The outside area and gardens are beautifully kept.
A very well presented cottage in a great location. There was everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We will be returning, Thank you
A lovely cottage in wonderful scenery in the middle of nowhere. The shared garden areas with chairs/loungers/barbecue and watching the birds feed from the numerous bird tables was an additional bonus.
Comfortable accommodation, beautiful surroundings and a relaxed atmosphere.
The location, views and wildlife particularly. Also the quietness, plus the dog was made welcome. It was only 12 minutes to the centre of Keswick.
Loved the location, in the middle of nowhere and really peaceful. The cottage had everything we needed and also a lovely cake to welcome us with and freshly laid eggs. Great games room if you had kids.
Very comfortable enjoyed the cake and the fresh eggs, the icing on the cake -a red squirrel visiting the bird feeder outside our sitting room window.
The cottage was very well equipped in both the kitchen, and living areas. It is well located for visiting the Northern Lakes.
The cottage was delightful with an added bonus of having its own garden so we could have meals outside - ideal for my dog !! Very handy not being very far from Keswick - ideally situated in stunning countryside !!
We wanted for nothing; every little thing you could need was there. We had a lovely break.
I just love this cottage - it's a very peaceful place which is brilliant for chilling out! It is nice and cosy with the kitchen/sitting room as one area..and its dog friendly! I like the garden where you can sit at the picnic table and eat/drink and take in the view and your dog is safe as its fenced. Keswick is just down the road and there are loads of wonderful places to walk/visit - just perfect!
It's a lovely cottage and I really appreciated the location away from the main tourist hot spots of the lakes - it made it restful to come home to.
There are The cottage is very well equipped and there were clear instructions for everything.
