Dragon House is a Grade II listed house situated 3.7 miles from the village of Dunster in Somerset. Set over three floors, this cottage sleeps 22 people in 8 bedrooms, consisting of a variety of bedroom layouts and all boast en-suite facilities. The house also has a commercial kitchen, a dining room with gas fire, a sitting room, a second sitting room with bar and open fire, a conservatory, a hall with seating, a second floor landing area with a sitting area and a second floor games room. Outside there's off road parking for 10 cars and lawned gardens with patios, a courtyard and furniture. Dragon House is an excellent setting for family celebrations.

The popular village of Dunster is situated near the North Somerset coast and offers winding cobbled streets, a castle, shops and traditional inns. The Exmoor National Park is well worth exploring with plenty of footpaths leading onto the surrounding hills, and there are sandy beaches close by.

Two commercial gas range cookers, two microwaves, two fridge/freezers, washing machine and tumble dryer in utility, commercial dishwasher, 9 x TVs with Freeview, 6 x DVDs, Xbox 360, WiFi, selection of books,games and DVDs. Fuel, power and starter pack for fire inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot and highchair. Off road parking for 15 cars. Shared lawned gardens with patios, courtyard and furniture. Two well-behaved dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 2 miles, pub 7 mins walk. Beach 2 miles. Note: Bar can be stocked on request at extra charge, contact owner to arrange. Note: Second floor rooms, including landing, have sloping ceilings. Note: Some road noise may be heard in few rooms at front of property. Note: Limited mobile phone reception. Note: Unfenced pond, children to be supervised. Note: Check-in 5pm, check-out 10am. This was an ideal location to explore Exmoor and the surrounding area. It is a great accommodation for a large group of all ages. The owner lives very close so was available to deal with any queries and was very helpful.

The place is unique, a county hotel that you can take over. A bar to yourselves, extensive gardens, big rooms and a very comfortable atmosphere. A commercial kitchen which is needed for 22 guests. A perfect venue for a family birthday.

Characterful and very comfortable property. Our party particularly enjoyed the novelty of having drinks in our own 'pub'. In a lovely situation and has places to explore nearby.

This house is just perfect for a big family/friends celebration. The owner is very friendly and takes you round the house and is available if you have any questions. We were allowed to check in at 3pm as the house was vacant before so that was an added bonus rather than the 5pm as advertised and when I asked if I could buy some ice locally on the phone, the owner kindly offered to make some ice for our arrival. Very much appreciated. The reception area was a fun way to check friends in on arrival. The house was oozing with character. We all loved it! There are two rooms a few steps across the garden courtyard, one up and one down which were the newer of the rooms and nice and warm even though not adjoining the house. The industrial kitchen worked perfectly with all the pots and pans along with the industrial dishwasher which once up and running had dishes done in just 3 mins. The house also came with washing up liquid, cloth and tea towels so easy to keep things clean. The bar area was my favourite room as really special and makes for such a great party as you really feel you have taken over a pub. Some friends were serving behind the bar and others sitting in front and constantly changing as it was fun to do both. With the open fire made it just perfect. Two of the family rooms have an additional small room with the additional twin beds so still feels private and works well. Also a nice dining room so all could dine together in one room making for a great party. There is some welcome information in reception regarding useful information you require while staying at the house and for local attractions. Some great walks to be had straight from the house to Watchet and Dunster. Also there is ample parking for guests. We ordered a local curry takeaway from Williton. Dropped the order in earlier in the day and arranged for evening delivery. This was a great way to get the party started. Also to note, the reception stairs in the hall way and the pretty garden terrace made for some great group photos to remember the weekend. Bring your tripod. Mobile reception very limited but free wifi is provided.
