The owner of the property was really nice and helpful. The cottage was so cosy and welcoming. The kids loved the garden, there was plenty of space in and outside.

The cottage is superb and it was a privilege to be able to visit it. The linen and towels are not only of an excellent quality but were the whitest of whites. It doesn't feel like a rental but a home from home. We loved watching the dragonflies hatching in the pond and the tadpoles turning into frogs; we picked just the right week. The cottage is excellently situated with the ability to drive out to anywhere; we spent a day on Anglesey this year. We will use the cottage again!

What lovely, cosy and warming cottage Eithin Fynydd was. A place to rest, relax and unwind in beautiful and peaceful surroundings. We spent our evenings next to the fires chatting and chilling. It was everything we had hoped for.

We loved everything about the cottage. It was spacious, very comfortable, well equipped and welcoming. The location, garden and views are wonderful. The owner was friendly and helpful without being at all intrusive. All this meant we had a relaxing home to return to after a day's sightseeing.

Eithin Fynydd is in a very beautiful spot, it was very serene and remote yet close to everything, and the owner was a really lovely lady.

A beautiful cottage in an amazing location with a friendly owner who couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. Well equipped with lots to do; books, games, DVDs, CDs. Log fires, chickens and kittens - who could ask for more?!

The cottage was magnificent and the host was welcoming and friendly. The location was perfect to get to lots of different places. The star grade should be higher, it was more like a 4 star property and one of the very nicest we have stayed in!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Eithin Fynydd and are already considering returning next year. The cottage is quite secluded but the upside of this is the tranquillity and the superb views. The owner Bethan is very welcoming as are her two chickens. The cottage is beautifully furnished and has plenty of cutlery and crockery etc. Lovely grounds and parking for 2 cars. The boys enjoyed lighting the wood burner in the lounge in the evenings.

Arrived at cottage recently for a weeks holiday in Wales. The owner could not of been more welcoming and was really friendly and helpful throughout the week. Could not fault the cottage, spacious, clean, beautiful gardens and had all the mod cons. Location great with a great pub within 30 min walk and more pubs, shops and things to do in Bala. Would thoroughly recommend this place and could not of picked anywhere better to stay.

Beautiful cottage in a beautiful garden in a beautiful area. Oh and the owner is lovely as well. We will definitely be booking again. Walked for miles through stunning scenery and had a lovely meal at the local pub on our only wet day. If you like walkng and seclusion, this is the place.
