A beautiful cottage, perfect for young families and conveniently located for visiting Hastings, Rye, Camber Sands and many of the surrounding areas. The owners were very helpful and had thought of everything - from children's cutlery, stair gates, games and extra blankets to tea and coffee, hairdryers, laundry bags and additional pillows - which made our stay completely hassle-free. The extra touches made us feel very welcome - including the welcome pack, body lotions, scented hangars, and a bottle of chilled wine on arrival. The cottage is spotless, tastefully decorated and very comfortable with two double-bedrooms (one ensuite) and one single bedroom overlooking the garden, lovely bathroom facilities and a very well-equipped kitchen. We travelled as a couple with two young children who spent the mornings playing and reading happily in the garden before we headed out for seaside fun. Fairview is the ideal base for young families wanting to explore this pretty part of the Sussex coast.

A beautiful cottage in a fantastic location. A great base for going off to explore the local areas of both Sussex and Kent.

This was our 3rd visit to the best cottage we have stayed in. We always feel at home there, it is well equipped and spotlessly clean. The weather was good and there are lots of places we love to visit not far away.

The cottage is incredibly well fitted out - there wasn't anything we needed, even with a baby in our party. The location was good, easy to get to Hastings and the nearby supermarket was very useful.

Lovely comfortable house, very home from home and relaxing. Good quality furniture and bed linen and towels. Quiet location, not far to many National Trust places. Overall we had a very relaxing time.

The house was very good. It was like home away from home. It was very comfortable. I would rent this property again. It is the best house/cottage that I have rented for holiday use.

Cottage very well equipped, and had the extra touch such as toiletries, and milk in the fridge. Easy parking. Added bonuses were some children's toys. Kitchen had lots of equipment - a real home from home, cleaning stuff, plenty of toilet rolls etc, even though I had bought my own!

The cottage was perfectly equipped for a young family - the owners had thought of everything, from children's cutlery and games to extra pillows and hairdryers, which made our break completely hassle-free! The cottage was spotlessly clean with the best facilities available for our personal use, and was perfectly located for our visits to the surrounding areas. The children loved relaxing in the garden at breakfast time and we appreciated the clean and beautifully equipped bathrooms. We would be happy to return and will recommend Fairview to others looking for a holiday in the same area.

We thoroughly enjoyed our break at Fairview. The cottage felt like a home from home, and was finished to a very high standard. With poor weather we spent longer in the cottage than we would normally, and found that it was perfect for our needs.

Very well appointed with excellent appliances, crockery, bedding etc. Spotlessly clean and fresh smelling. After a hectic day out an equally well appointed garden, summer house, 2 table and chair sets plus loungers which got the sun for most of the day. This was our second visit and hope it won't be the last.

The cottage was outstanding probably the best we have stayed in and we've stayed in many over the years. The attention to detail was first rate.

The property was spotlessly clean and extremely well equipped. The general upkeep of the property was excellent - we enjoyed the seclusion of the garden. There were lots of excellent 'special touches' which were much appreciated.

We had a great time staying at the cottage. It was very well decorated and really comfortable for the 4 of us to relax in all day if we wanted. It was also in a great location, with idyllic walking paths, a great pub just minutes down the road and close to the beach and Hastings. We'd love to come back, and it would also be good to bring young children along, as it had a safe garden, travel cot, high chair, stair gate.

Everything about the cottage was excellent. The beds were very comfortable and the cottage was probably the best we have stayed in. The furniture, fittings and everything are excellent. Everything you need is provided. Well situated for visiting lots of places of interest.

The cottage was superb, more like a home than a holiday cottage. There was a nice bottle of wine for us, lots of biscuits and the makings of hot drinks provided. The area is very pretty with lots of places to visit, the R.H.D. Railway was especially interesting, I recommend going.

We were delighted with the cottage - every detail had been thought of although the tv didn't work while we were there - but that didn't matter to us, and it was being repaired. The layout downstairs was not ideal as the dining room is not near the kitchen, however the cottage was so clean and cared for, nothing shabby or old about it, so cosy in fact that we enjoyed every minute of our stay there. Quite central for our explorations of East Sussex.

This is a really nice holiday cottage. Everything supplied that one could wish for. All the decor and facilities are first class. Very nice village and the local pub, The Two Sawyers was very nice, friendly and put up good food. The cottage is in Pett which is very central to lots of nice tourist facilities. I do recommend going on th RHD railway to Hythe, a really nice small seaside town. Tenterden is also very nice and The Vine is a really good pub. Nearby Hastings is a much improved place from a few years ago. Alexandra .Park is very nice.
