Far Stones Cottage is a detached barn conversion set in the grounds of the owner's home on the edge of Oxenhope, just two miles from Haworth, and can sleep four people. The cottage has two double bedrooms, one of which is on the ground floor room as well as a ground floor bathroom. There is an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and a sitting area with a woodburning stove. Outside there is ample off road parking and a decked terrace with furniture and BBQ. Far Stones Cottage is a wonderful base for your holiday, with Haworth and Hebden Bridge nearby to explore.
The small village of Oxenhope lies amid wonderful scenery, and offers the chance to take advantage of the multitude of walks in the area. The village, with its shops, churches and pubs, is home to the terminus for the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway, an authentic steam railway brought to prominence in the film The Railway Children, which runs on a regular basis to Haworth and on down to Keighley.
The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.
